i find this thingy terrible, if i understood well, you can`t really have your own sound, you can`t change anything on the sounds of this thing so, whatever you do you play with sounds that aren`t yours, so you`re just another guitar player with a "cliche" kinda sound
I just got it! I was so excited but the downside, is that you have to do some EQ on some software because the tone lacks punch and TREBLE!!! Lot's of it! It sounds all muff with out EQ
So if u plug it in a computer u dint need an amp? To bad it ain't footswitchable from cleans to distortion:/ should I get this or a sanpera footswitch cause I have a peavy vypyr
If we want to overwrite the original tones .... how to copy the original pocket pod tones (default tones) to the computer? so We can copy back the original tones to the pocket pod at another time?
man, i started playing like a year ago, and i really thought it was really hard.buut, i never gave up, because if you really want it, you must go after it
@AlgebraicDnB No, it's not footswitch operable. There's also a small break in the sound on switching patches, so for live use the XT Live Pods are more suitable.
@Gepduarsin I got the spider 3 75 watt and it has 400+ sounds built in. I also wouldn't say their is much difference in the quality of the sounds. their both great pieces of kit
I doubt you could do that, if you plug headphones into it the sound will be routed through to the headphones, so you will have to plug it into an amp if you want your webcam to pick up the sound of it
I've got the setup ok now (mic, headphones, guitar into pocket pod, and other end of mic cable to the laptop so my laptop hears what my headphones are hearing and still views video)
But i've still got a problem (You'll see what i mean if you go to ANY of my videos) There's a constant buzz sound that also dampens down the effect and just makes the general quality not that good. (So when i'm using the pod normally it sounds ok, but then i plug the mic cable and it sounds horrible)
Try the pocket pod straight to your laptop, and in your computer settings, there should be two volume controls for the mic or line-in (whichever you are using). One is for recording, and the other is "playback."
Usually playback is muted by default, but if you can find it and turn it up, and then plug your headphones into the headphone jack on your laptop, you should hear on your headphones what is coming into your laptop.
I can't guarantee that there won't be some hiss/crackle.
so, u just download or use presets on there...plug it into ur amp and guitar and thats it? i see alot of ppl who use that plug it into there computer...i dont wanna buy somethign that requires a computer to use it lol, unless u need to download presets i understand that
it comes with some presets, you can just plug it into your amp and play it through that, but you can also plug it into your computer. but its not designed specifically for computer, so yes, you could even use it live.
@deathrecycle if you hold down the save and tune button at the same time then press right it controls the sound gate it should minimize the noise from it

Phase on a processor has been done to death. They really need an evh emulator phase or flanger. Otherwise, don't bother.

Yes, i've tried that with some of my videos, but the sound quality was still very muddy.
So now i'm wondering also how to get perfect quality AND a backing track at the same time
