The xbox version is much difficult than the gamecube.

I play in normal mode and this game is so difficult, i think Halo on legendary in much easy...The gun's is not steady it's always moving but il like the atmosphere of this game.

There is no true difference between the systems other than the controls. But yeah, TS2's aiming system is hard to use, compared to Halo's. Future Perfect fixes that though.

the only really hard part of this game is the last part where you reach the reactor and have to fight the scourge splitters....they have the most god like aim :(

You have to keep the crane over the third bomb for about a second for it to lift properly. After that the level isn't that hard until the end.

Make sure you do like this guy and DO NOT KILL KHALLOS UNTIL ALL REACTOR CORES HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED. If you do, the Scourge Splitters will spawn and annihilate you in three hits. As long as Khallos is left alive they won't spawn, however.

It seems I have a problem. Every time I play this level, when I get to the magnet part where you have to carry the bomb and drop it in the pit, when I try to use the crane, it doesn't work and I end up having to restart because the island explodes. Is there something I missed? I turned the wheel in the opposite room but it still doesn't let me move the magnet. What did I miss?

you simply need more health at the checkpoint i believe. thats usually the case.

The Splitters always reappear after you kill them, so killing them doesn't do much good. Instead, get them to chase you as you leave the reactor area. Go up the ramp in one of the adjacent rooms and when they've followed you up there, jump down and go back to the reactor and pull the switches. They take a while to follow you back to the reactor so you should have time to pull all the switches before they return.

whatever, out of all the levels in hard mode, this one for me proved to be the hardest.

me and a friend just tried...and we kept a death count - and we definitly hit 125 before simply GETTING to the activation room! (we got to the checkpoint with full hp though!)

We got to the activation room with full hp and armour , put a shitload of mines on where the boss spawns and blew them up the instant he spawned. Then we lured the scourge splitters back through the level, up some stairs and then dropped down again to throw them off. Then we quckly turned on the activators and made it through the warp (with almost no health!)

so in other words, you NEED lots of hp!

When you turned off the lasers and went into the reactor room, why didn't you lay mines at the entrance for when Khallos comes in? It would have killed him before he could fire a shot.

If I killed Khallos right there, then I would've had to fight two Scourge Splitters while turning off the reactors, which is not fun.

The trick that makes them follow you but when you drop off the catwalks and they can't, allowing you to turn off the reactor easily, that takes too much time imo.

All of the Hard Mode runs I put on Youtube were only my second time, just after I beat Hard Mode, which was a while ago.

I just kept on practicing them on normal mode because normal and hard mode are very alike and that helped me a lot.
