  • Awesome video, thanks for posting. My best friend dropped my 2 week old PPK/S in a sand pile and every moving part had sand in it. We were able to take the gun apart and get ALL the sand out of the gun. If you didn't make this easy to follow video, my friend would be a dead man by my own 2 hands..lol. Thanks again, Lowell

  • Thank you for the video, I was having problems with the firing pin having lite strikes on primers. Your video helped me do a detailed cleaning of the slide assembly and firing pin/spring; hopefully this will clear the problem up.

  • Good video , I never tear mine down all the way after shooting it .

Very well put on the video.

    Thanks

  • i feel this may diminish the pistols performance?

  • Again, im no gunsmith (this is my first handgun), and i believe my s&w manual specifically said -not- to do this procedure, but i wanted to clean it thoroughly first time around as well as to understand fully how it worked. As no videos were on here detailing the procedure, i decided to make these. I wouldnt recommend this procedure for every cleaning, but mine does operate more reliably after having cleaned it in this detail.

  • unless noted by s&w or required for cleaning i don't think i could do this. will this help keep the pistol in tip top shape if i striped and clean every part? i really like this video! thanks.

  • Thank you so much for making this video. I disassembeled the hammere part of my ppk and could not figure out how to put it back together. I thought I would have to have to have my gunsmith fix it but I found your video. Thank you for sharing you knoledge with us.

  • Thank you for your excellent video. I wanted to polish some parts and this prevented me from fumbling about on my own. Because the safe selector/extractor spring is so strong, I have to put the safe selector in then the extractor spring through the ejector port then the extractor claw. Again Thank you.

  • thank you for posting this! this little pistol had tried my patience and you cleared up my confusion -

  • great vids, very thorough, very detailed. helped me get my well used ppk/s back to like new condition, thanks!

  • Again great job on both videos. Nice to see one were the person actually knows what he is talking about.

  • I just wanted to thank you again. Just reassembled mine. All of it was a breeze except for that dang trigger guard, that alone took about 45 minutes to get that dang thing lined up right that spring is so hard! But it is all back together now. Thank you again!
