This is a wonderful song. The words and even the music are very evocative of the burgeoning vegetal growth in wood, field and even urban garden at the beginning of summer. You can almost see the sap rising and the earth becoming covered with grass, green leaves and flowers of every colour. Beltane means a jungly fertility, light, warmth....SUMMER
