People who drive convertibles have no right to complain about anything performance related; the very fact that a car is a convertible instantly compromises anything that makes it a good sports car.

Take off the roof: less rigid frame causes flex.

Add convertible components (gears/motors material) you add weight, slowing acceleration, worse handling, harder braking. Yes, you should pay for being an attention whore. You're already in a bmw, that should be enough. If you want sun, get out.

The 128i isn't worth the money, and this is coming from a loyal BMW fan. Sure, it's cute and it's different, but I'd rather buy a 3 series convertible for a little more. The 3 series this year is amazing.
