Don't think so I think it was a song about her gran. I could be wrong though.

Yeah ur right :) It is about her gran. I know her personally, and she used to not be able to sing it without crying..:(

Yvonne was the find of the GB08 for me too.Her performance cafe set was great ,I could have sat and listened for longer.

Thanks again for capturing this...I was over by Martyns side of the stage and hearing him play along with her was lovely....some of the most memorable things of a Greebelt happen at The Rising.

Great to see this posted. Yvonne Lyon was my 'find' of GB08. What a beautiful voice, lovely melodies and such poignant lyrics. Have just ordered her last two CDs and can't wait to hear them.

Glad you enjoyed it. Its a very moving song. I wished I'd recorded more performances over the weekend but I thought my cheap digital camera wouldn't be up to the job but this came out ok.
