  • at 2:30 is just sad when he is falling, really is :(

  • can't stop listening from 1:45 to 2:30

  • The music in this film is utterly fantastic and gives you that Peter Jackson creature film feel to you.

  • When I heard this music being played I was balling with tears cause of how upseting it was because it sounds like someone you loved and cared for died.

  • @JDWolfman12271 right every time i hear tht it sounds like it :(

  • king kongs bitches better be using jimmies

  • 1:20 sounds like Adagio track from Alien 3.

The cue at 1:52 is so beautiful.

    He recycled some parts.

  • @UpwardsFallings I heard traces in the soundtrack that remind me of LOTR themes.

  • @mrsubscribe5000 HAHAHA! Seriously laughed alot there. Training Day happens to be one of my favorite movies haha.

  • photographer: why did he do that get himself cornered the ape must of known what was coming.

photographer 2: it just a dumb animal doesn't know nothing, what does it matter the airplanes got em.

carl denham: no it wasn't the airplanes.......... it was beauty killed the beast

Me: (crying) that was the greatest film i have ever seen.

  • In my opinion, you guys are crazy. 2:35 is sad and good, yes. But NOTHING CAN BEAT THE HEROIC 1:51 ! NEVER! ROAAAAAAAAAAAR *beats his chest*

  • @justinbieberfan20148 the difference between justin bieber and kong is that kong loved women

  • this is why it's my favorite film. I get so emotional. I knew what was coming because I love the original, but peter Jackson took the end scene a whole step further, and made everyone in the thearter ball

  • @chopperpilot5 agreed!

  • i get big buggers come out of that nose lol. And the poop dont whant me to say anything about that.

  • i get big buggers come out of that nose lol.

  • 3 people are not beautiful

  • 2:35 :l it ALWAYS makes me cry, always. Why did Kong have to die. :l I so hate happy endings. >.< But I loved/love the movie. If I'd be Ann, I'd keep Kong as my pet. (: <3

  • @HazelLillies Why its a movie, get the fuck over it

  • @kraznot Watch your language. o.o And yeah, it is a movie, indeed; but that doesn't mean I cannot cry over it. Everyone with a heart has a weak spot for some movie they like. So, learn to live with it.

  • one of the saddest and most EPIC scenes in movie history!

  • heart shaped nose

  • The Humans who killed Kong weren´t evil. They just dont want hundreds of People to die! Evil are the ones who captured him, and totured him just for their dammed money! When he sits on the State Building and looks at the sunrise i think about when he sat on the rocks with Ann and looking at the sunrise. Both timse Ann says: "Beautyful. Yes, it is!" The first time it is! The 2nd time it isn´t! The 2nd time he is missing his home and thinking what have this evil creatures done.....

  • My favorite movie of all time!!!!!!!

  • @SexyBuilder1888 your opinion, it's just what i think. no need to swear

  • @SexyBuilder1888 This movie is not "%^&$#%& Awful" at all. This was a stunning and truly brilliant film. It was also very touching and moving.

  • @Kaffyboy what do you mean by Moving?

  • @RaymonRoss777 I meant that it really tugs at the heartstrings. I thought the relationship between Ann and Kong was beautiful.

  • It wasn't the planes that killed him. Herr beauty killed the beast.

  • 2 35 amazing

  • its so messed up he was the last of his kind the 8th wonder and they just shot him down it brings a tear to your eye because like most animals that are killed just for being misunderstood you see just how much most people dont care they should have just like kong stay where he was and just been glad they got to see him

  • I felt so sorry for the big guy

  • It's one of those films that every time you see it you think 'No, don't do it. Don't go up there!' and somehow every time you watch it you want it to end differently.

  • the singing in the background is the saddest thing ever :'( kind of makes u think 'omg did kong go through all that just to get shot off the empire state building'?

  • i've been trying to listen to a range of movie scores by various composers, but james newton howard is always the 1 i keep coming back to (H) :D

  • 1:45 and on.

In the film where Ann yells "Nooo!"

    Brought me to tears.

  • 2:36 and on...I'm sorry, but nothing beats the sound of that, personally...absolute perfection

it's very "Lord of the Rings"...well done Peter Jackson and James Newton Howard

  • @mathh8r Oh okayy thank You Mathh8r =]

  • @mathh8r

thank you..... thank you... thank youuuuuuuu

  • This is one of the movies masterpieceThis music gives so much felings to this movie especially at the end.James is a great artist

  • name of vocalist?

  • @melbrucemichael The singer is Ben Inman!

  • beauty didn't kill him. just because carl said it at the end, doesn't mean it is so. it was the affectionate relationship established between ms darrow and king kong, that drove him to look for ger, thus leading to his death...

  • Look, you feminist nazi, this is called a MUSIC SCORE. Scientific study and hearsay concludes that when commenting on music scores, one should stick to the piece at hand and comment accordingly to the subject matter, not spew their self-righteous bull crap like Hilary Clinton (ohhhh, I made a political knock in a music score, I'm under arrest!). Go read poetry on a nature hike with your other fembots.

    P.S. My balls > You

  • @tutuvo07 When Carl says, "beauty killed the beast", he isn't referring to the actual concept of beauty. He's referring specifically to Ann. And since Kong looked out for Ann, he eventually died. So beauty did kill the beast.

But you were right for the most part.

  • @KevinTheNoobie Ann represents beauty in carl's eyes and perhaps to many viewers, but i still argue it wasn't her beauty, it was the fact that Ann interacted with him. she understood that kong had some range of feelings. the natives of skull island didn't understand this, it's why when kong would bring them back to his cliff, he would end up eating them- not because he was hungry but because tht's the only purpose thy wud serve him.

  • Beautiful voice.

  • I wonder who the vocalist was near the end. Beautiful voice.

  • Peter Jackson differentiates his King Kong in a way that makes the whole movie more like a beautiful modern fairytale.

  • I just watched this movie again tonight. I didn't cry as much this time around when Kong died but I still teared up. That scene always bothers me.

  • ive seen the movie an this scene of the movie was the most saddest , i cried my eyes out! the music and the scene itself made to emotional!

  • @SilverWorldUK Me too, that guy who said "Who cares, it's just a dumb animal." must be a real asshole. He says to Jack Black "Don't worry the airplanes got him" Jack Black: "It wasn't the airplanes... It was beauty that killed the beast" BEST QUOTE EVER SAID BY JACK BLACK.

  • @SilverWorldUK Tell me about it :' (

  • I've seen this movie so many times that i can remember every scene that would have played with this music. 5/5

  • I'm not saying that it was Anne's fault I always wondered how she lived with herself after something so traumatic and depressing.

She watched Kong die right in front of her and even saw his pupils dilate.

  • cecause she had driscoll - the film i really about king kong being the father she never had - like teenager that grows up and are about to begin their own adventure in life

  • @Wiseguy453

It was a mirror image of the scene when Carl Denham gassed Kong. For all Kong knew he was dieing, and even during that final moment of consciousness he still reached for her. She WASN'T going to let that happen twice - especially considering the great length he went to protect her.

  • @Wiseguy453 OMGAD GIANT MONKEY DIED.

    life is over.

  • lilkaty09, if what you are saying makes sense, then the following must too..

You get hungry, and start wanting a cheeseburger.

So you cross the road to get to the restaurant.

While crossing the road, you get hit by a car driven by a drunk driver.

So, it is the cheeseburger that killed you, not the drunk driver.

So, the cheeseburger needs to be prosecuted and sentenced to a lifetime in prison....

  • haha that just makes me laugh!

  • SHENEEchik12 ,

Ouch! That was uncalled for. What's the matter? The weather is a little too hot in the land down undie?

  • It had to much love for ann. If he did not meet her, then the crew was'n looking for kong and didn't take him to new york. If he did not meet her he wasn't looking for her in new york. And if he did not met her, he was still on skull island and was't dead.

  • sad song and sad movie its the most painful part of the movie. Thanks I need to download it to.

  • i love this movie and this song

    amazing

    Big Thanks!

  • lol, it's funny, did you know that the guys in the plane are the producers? And if you look close, you can see Peter Jackson in the back shooting one of the guns!

  • I love this so much.

    I love it at 2:30 to 4:46.

I hav been lookin for this for a long time

  • look at the song Central Park ;)

  • i am left with no spaces here to give out any decent comments...b/c they've been posted already...

hmm..let me see...ok i was so sad and emotional that i wanna kill those ppl who were driving the planes..

  • A very good movie, and I think it is better than the 1933 version, but I still like it. I just didn't feel any emotional attatchment to Kong in the 1933 version whereas in this version, like I have read, it got people to cry in theaters. Good job Peter Jackson, and I hope The Hobbit is amazing!!!

  • great wonderful music!

  • This movie is great and sad. But, I just couldn't hide my emotions, I really cried in the end of the movie, because it was so sad that, King Kong sacrificed he's life for that woman. A good and pure soul for a wistful human soul. Maybe its just a film, but ....... :'(

    Never mind...

  • I cried i simply cried i could not apsoultely i could not stop my self from crying. It reminds me of me and a very special person...

  • Me too, man tears all the way lol. This music is really beautiful.

  • in this movie its so sad how he dies. it gose in slow motion!

  • I think the final scene in this movie had a more powerful impact with Kong's death than the 1933 version.

Because I remember the whole freaking audience in the theater crying their eyes out when Kong dies, there were even little kids crying as well.

Peter Jackson, thanks for the well-made and respectable remake of King Kong.

  • from :33 and beyond it makes me want to cry. It's certainly beautiful but as you listen to it makes want to have tears in your eyes.

  • ur very right.

  • damn that airplane that came from behind!

  • @20Z9 Indeed, and I think that reason is because of the look on Kong's face as he looks at Ann before she climbs up to the top. Its what Fran (Peter Jackson's wife and producer of his films) said in the commentary of the special edition, that that one look says it all. Every time Kong has shown up, you root for him, you see how he's suffered, and even though the audience knows his fate from the original, you can't help but hope it'll turn out different. Yet when Kong realizes he won't survive...

  • @persianking44 That isn't Fran Walsh in the commentary, it's Philippa Boyens, the other co-writer/producer and friend of Peter Jackson. Fran Walsh keeps private.

  • totally agree

  • sad
