'The 'woman' with the child in her eyes adaption of the lyrics I think does not work. The song loses it's magic somehow but I agree totally Kate 'shines here as always' as the genius lovely person she is.
The change in gender references get very confusing here. Who is here again the man or ???? with the child in his/her eyes. Kate is amazing as always and agree 'shines here as always'.
duh, listen to 1:10 and after, it is SO Gabriel, absolutely. How could you have any doubt, unless the world's greatest voice impersonator got booked instead? no brainer .
As these are 3 of my favourite artists, I did a bit of googling. Here's the stuff: This was recorded at Hammersmith Odeon, London, on May 12th, 1979 as part of the Bill Duffield Benefit Concert. Bill was a lighting engineer who died in an accident at Kate's Poole Art Centre gig on 2 April that year. I can't guarantee this - but all 3 were there and they sang that gorgeous song.
oh, great. the drummer from the steve-harley-band was later drummer on the first kate-bush-recordings. thanks for posting this. i love their music ... :)
I see only two problems:
-the song
-the drummer

What's the source of this? It doesn't sound like Gabriel, just someone who sounds like him.
