Just some other things to point out, gw2 well be playable in 3D, well have over 120 hours of voice work in game. No more wall of text that you won't read, you hear people talking and asking for help. Well have about 400 dye colors in game that you can unlock and use as much as you want. The armor in game can be transmuted so you can take the armor you like the look of and transmute it with a better stated armor so you well always look the way you want.

@GassNaut Technically half the time GW isn't even classified an RPG, for the fact that it's roots are PvP in which you start at max level.. I prefer to avoid the grind, not much to compare but I believe what it offers is better. Theres more than numbers to crunch.

WoW have PvP you say? I'm sorry I wasn't aware that GW had none to do, I mean here I was thinking I was PvPing for 3 years and it didn't even exist in the game /sarcasm. If anything not having to grind a new character to max level constantly to play something new is a relief.
Large raids take too long to assemble at times and I never said it was bad, GW is just better.
@AbsoluteSuperiority you're forgetting the fact that raids in gw also exist...they're called farming...and they actually need to be alot more planned out than anything a wow player will ever have to do.
@CakeLover12 you can never be done with all the quests because now they added quests that change everyday *zaishen quests*..they also added Hard Mode so that those who finished the game can try the game with more challenging enemies. Go get your facts right tard.
Have YOU done all the missions, dungeons, elite areas, and storylines in Guild Wars? No? Most people who have played for years haven't finished everything, got every title, or anything. And there is PvP in guild Wars. It's just that it's balanced. max on each team is eight, you have to be max level to play PvP, there are no super armors with better stats, and that means that because everyone is on even ground, you have to be much more careful and strategic.
and that's why it is boring :) wow's pvp is balanced in level brackets and 80's have their own bracket, so you cannot use the lvl balance as an excuse for gw's to be better. anyways back to why gw's pvp is boring, because the rewards are no where near as great as wow's pvp rewards, and not any ol retard can hop on a class they never played before and pvp, thats where gw's pvp fails, and the fact that all you gotta do is click buttons, cause you can't run around and jump!
oh and for wow's storyline, if you care, google Arthas and go to the wow wiki site, their's your storyline, and i have played guild wars. i will say WoW's storyline is a million times more epic. i can't come close to typing a summary of the storyline in here, i would miss to much.
Running around and jumping just make the battle more annoying, not more skillful. And more to the point, people move around alot in GW PvP, it;s just you can't do it while moving. I never said WoW had no storyline. I think that Guild Wars has a more cohesive one, however, with cinematics and whatnot. Nightfall and Eye of the North have the best ones, and they are, without a doubt, just as good as WoW's. To conclude, you'll have to come up with more than "I think GW sucks" to convince me.
Hem hem. WoW may balance the level, but not what skills, weapons, and armor that higher levels may get. So yes, I can use it as an excuse. If all you do in Guild Wars PvP is click buttons, you're doing it wrong. Certain projectiles can be dodged, positioning is important, and the only real difference is that you can't jump (which does nothing other than make the battle look stupider) and that you have to stop to use most skills.

Only seen one game that might beat it and it's darkfall online.

Yeah. I know that running around helps you dodge attacks. You can dodge stuff in Guild Wars as well. You have to watch your opponent in Guild Wars, you have to try and counter their spells by intturupting, knocking down, blinding, or dazing, as well as many other things. Yes, healers heal you, but there are also self-healing skills for every Guild Wars class. I'm not exactly sure what your last thing means, but yeah, any Guild Wars class can kill another one, too.
guild wars pvp is easy in the sense that their isn't much to look out for and do, you see your opponent start casting something so interrupt it. Same thing in W.o.W, and for the Hall of Heroes try winning an arena season on WoW, lol. so, in GW's you have to, target your opponent, get your skill rotation.

WoW - you have to keep moving, interrupting, and since you character doesn't Auto run to the target it leaves you to more of a free combat feel, make sure who's ever with you is also doing their job, i tend to have a healer, so i hope he/she is doing it well, and make sure no one gets on the healer (same in GW's i just

By real PvP, what exactly do you mean? Random arenas? because that's exactly what it sounds like you were doing. RA is the lowest form of PvP in GW. don't judege it by that. And GvG has changed a lot since when you last played, only the best of the best play in it, it's incredibly hard to get into. I must confess I've never found my teammates in WoW to be overly smart, but with so many people, do you expect them all the be geniuses? (goes for both games).
The reason gear is easy to get in Guild Wars is because it doesn't matter as much. The ONLY reasons a person wins or loses in Guild Wars is (1) that they were facing someone with a better build, or (2) the person they were facing knew how to use their build better. Guild Wars was never designed to be a game that would take tons of hours to "prepare for having fun". WoW needs to keep people playing so they'll keep spending money every month. Hence the large amount of work you need to put in.
Ah, but that's the point. In Guild Wars, max gear doesn't make you better. In WoW, a marginally skilled player who plays 24/7 is more powerful than a player who understands everything about the game, but only plays it once in a while. Why? Not because he gets rusty, but becasue the first player has better gear. That's unfair. What you're saying is that it's harder to stay good in WoW. Not at all, if you know so much about WoW, and only play a very little, you could get the best pvp gear in not to much time, if you find a partner like you for rated arenas, it will be hard at first, and it will probably take 2 weeks to get it, but if your skilled enough you could. unfortunitly most good players have already done that and have their partners and the ones looking for partners, want them to be geared...
requiring you to do either a raid that drops pvp gear VoA, Doing raids/heroics for emblerms, or doing Battlegrounds, best way would be battlegrounds but then your looking at a peice a day, and that would take lots of time to get. That's GREAT. What I am saying, is that Guild Wars makes it easy for you to get everything you need for serious PvP. What it doesn't make easy, is making the correct builds (combos of skills on your bar) and using them. (this involves positioning, timing, and knowledge of how movement effects skills, and vice-versa. I'm not saying WoW is bad because it has a different system. What I'm saying, is that lots of people, like me, prefer the system used in Guild Wars.

Now that I think about it you're right x3 I got carried away and ended it before I talked about what WoW did right x.x first video sorry. Thinking an MMO shouldn't have a storyline is very narrow minded, anything that adds to the experience is a plus. Guild Wars despite not playing even it anymore had a much bigger sense of accomplishment than leveling, which is why the cap is low, few other mmos can give you a reason and sense of accomplishment beyond you get X weapon after you kill 100 of x!

Since the new Heroes' Ascent meta (palm strike sins and smiters and/or tease mesmers) I got WoW. To put it short, "What a bad game." Hopefully that meta in GW will just blow over.
Even the r11+ I know have stopped playing HA at least since, it's really a gay build and no fun to fight, the oldfashion heroway was easier to beat it seems x.x Hope WoW works out for you :P only seems to last a month or two with the people I know that try it but you never know xD

Instead you get equips you need skills in Guild Wars, which you gain trough NORMAL playing instead of no-life play to gain equips.

@GassNaut Technically half the time GW isn't even classified an RPG, for the fact that it's roots are PvP in which you start at max level.. I prefer to avoid the grind, not much to compare but I believe what it offers is better. Theres more than numbers to crunch.

well, i play guildwars now. i quit world of warcraft because i couldent stomach the $15 bucks a month. and then once i think i have deacent gear. guess what? i brand new expansion comes out and i get to start all over again!! but i will admit WoW was AWESOME!!! love both games... i personaly like WoW pvp SOOOO much better and how thats set up but i LOVE the GW story line .... the graphics/characters looks i personally think are better 5/5 great video

WoW have PvP you say? I'm sorry I wasn't aware that GW had none to do, I mean here I was thinking I was PvPing for 3 years and it didn't even exist in the game /sarcasm. If anything not having to grind a new character to max level constantly to play something new is a relief.
Large raids take too long to assemble at times and I never said it was bad, GW is just better.

@CakeLover12 you can never be done with all the quests because now they added quests that change everyday *zaishen quests*..they also added Hard Mode so that those who finished the game can try the game with more challenging enemies. Go get your facts right tard.

Have YOU done all the missions, dungeons, elite areas, and storylines in Guild Wars? No? Most people who have played for years haven't finished everything, got every title, or anything. And there is PvP in guild Wars. It's just that it's balanced. max on each team is eight, you have to be max level to play PvP, there are no super armors with better stats, and that means that because everyone is on even ground, you have to be much more careful and strategic.

and that's why it is boring :) wow's pvp is balanced in level brackets and 80's have their own bracket, so you cannot use the lvl balance as an excuse for gw's to be better. anyways back to why gw's pvp is boring, because the rewards are no where near as great as wow's pvp rewards, and not any ol retard can hop on a class they never played before and pvp, thats where gw's pvp fails, and the fact that all you gotta do is click buttons, cause you can't run around and jump!

Running around and jumping just make the battle more annoying, not more skillful. And more to the point, people move around alot in GW PvP, it;s just you can't do it while moving. I never said WoW had no storyline. I think that Guild Wars has a more cohesive one, however, with cinematics and whatnot. Nightfall and Eye of the North have the best ones, and they are, without a doubt, just as good as WoW's. To conclude, you'll have to come up with more than "I think GW sucks" to convince me.

Hem hem. WoW may balance the level, but not what skills, weapons, and armor that higher levels may get. So yes, I can use it as an excuse. If all you do in Guild Wars PvP is click buttons, you're doing it wrong. Certain projectiles can be dodged, positioning is important, and the only real difference is that you can't jump (which does nothing other than make the battle look stupider) and that you have to stop to use most skills.

"difficult" thing in gws pvp is organization of which class is in your pvp group and how to work together, but hell same in wow, but with 15+ people, and the groups get filled in seconds, weather you randomly get in groups or make a premade. and arenas are THE toughest, most tactical, skill involved pvp, i have ever partaken in. Only seen one game that might beat it and it's darkfall online.

Yeah. I know that running around helps you dodge attacks. You can dodge stuff in Guild Wars as well. You have to watch your opponent in Guild Wars, you have to try and counter their spells by intturupting, knocking down, blinding, or dazing, as well as many other things. Yes, healers heal you, but there are also self-healing skills for every Guild Wars class. I'm not exactly sure what your last thing means, but yeah, any Guild Wars class can kill another one, too.

guild wars pvp is easy in the sense that their isn't much to look out for and do, you see your opponent start casting something so interrupt it. Same thing in W.o.W, and for the Hall of Heroes try winning an arena season on WoW, lol. so, in GW's you have to, target your opponent, get your skill rotation.

IN guildwars, you can either campaign and use w.e. gear their is for lvl 20 their to pvp, or make a pvp character and start out geared. In WoW you have to basically WORK for your gear, but doing Heroic Dungeons/raids(for emblems to buy gear)/battlegrounds for honor to buy gear/

Arena's for arena points for gear, but with the arena tactic you really have to be geared decent to start it, creating the other options the only viable ones to use, thus making it tough to get the gear, keeping this idiots out of the real PvP.And when you have more good players than bad, that up's the difficulty to. By real PvP, what exactly do you mean? Random arenas? because that's exactly what it sounds like you were doing. RA is the lowest form of PvP in GW. don't judege it by that. And GvG has changed a lot since when you last played, only the best of the best play in it, it's incredibly hard to get into. I must confess I've never found my teammates in WoW to be overly smart, but with so many people, do you expect them all the be geniuses? (goes for both games).

The reason gear is easy to get in Guild Wars is because it doesn't matter as much. The ONLY reasons a person wins or loses in Guild Wars is (1) that they were facing someone with a better build, or (2) the person they were facing knew how to use their build better. Guild Wars was never designed to be a game that would take tons of hours to "prepare for having fun". WoW needs to keep people playing so they'll keep spending money every month. Hence the large amount of work you need to put in.

Ah, but that's the point. In Guild Wars, max gear doesn't make you better. In WoW, a marginally skilled player who plays 24/7 is more powerful than a player who understands everything about the game, but only plays it once in a while. Why? Not because he gets rusty, but becasue the first player has better gear. That's unfair. What you're saying is that it's harder to stay good in WoW. You're saying that the game has to become like a job if you want to have fun. That's not a good thing.

Not at all, if you know so much about WoW, and only play a very little, you could get the best pvp gear in not to much time, if you find a partner like you for rated arenas, it will be hard at first, and it will probably take 2 weeks to get it, but if your skilled enough you could. unfortunitly most good players have already done that and have their partners and the ones looking for partners, want them to be geared...

requiring you to do either a raid that drops pvp gear VoA, Doing raids/heroics for emblerms, or doing Battlegrounds, best way would be battlegrounds but then your looking at a peice a day, and that would take lots of time to get. But when i started arenas i was gear with the lowest gear possible at 80, and i defeated people wearing some of the best (non pvp) gear in game, tier 8.5 (at the time) and theirs even though it wasn't pvp gear,

That's GREAT. What I am saying, is that Guild Wars makes it easy for you to get everything you need for serious PvP. What it doesn't make easy, is making the correct builds (combos of skills on your bar) and using them. (this involves positioning, timing, and knowledge of how movement effects skills, and vice-versa. I'm not saying WoW is bad because it has a different system. What I'm saying, is that lots of people, like me, prefer the system used in Guild Wars.

no their is hardly any movement in guildwars combat, it's click and attack. and all you would have to do is bind 8 skills to your controller. it would work fine actually. lol, now in a game like WoW where you have to move to dodge players attacks, or raid bosses attacks it most likely wouldn't work. but like i said guild wars, you click what you wanna target, your character auto attacks it immediatly.

Now that I think about it you're right x3 I got carried away and ended it before I talked about what WoW did right x.x first video sorry. Thinking an MMO shouldn't have a storyline is very narrow minded, anything that adds to the experience is a plus. Guild Wars despite not playing even it anymore had a much bigger sense of accomplishment than leveling, which is why the cap is low, few other mmos can give you a reason and sense of accomplishment beyond you get X weapon after you kill 100 of x!

When you get a education in marketing we can talk but Guild Wars with minimal to no advertising against World of Warcraft that's everywhere on everything of course isn't going to do as good and of course it's dying.
