The truth is that cat's spoiled rotten, knows it, and is trying to manipulate the owner. They get all pissy like that often for various reasons. She probably wanted some treat and you could tell she shouldn't have them by her weight. So no treats means kitty is in a pissy mood. As an owner you just have to practice tough love and when they discover they aren't affecting you or you thwack them on the head when they try to bite you all of a sudden they're all "I'm sorry" and lovey dovey again.
