you dont have to pay but you do have to pay if you want to buy them just download them from limewire and add the songs & videos to itunes. or you can get your own cds

u have to pay for the songs off of itunes but u can download them from limewire or frostwire and convert them to itunes

Considering downloading songs off Limewire is pirating (illegal downloading) yes, you have to buy every song from iTunes. But fear not, you wont be spending thousands of dollars on just songs, by buying a album off of iTunes, it could save you 5 dollars or more (not a lot now but it does add up). The easiest way would be to just go to a store that sells CD's and stock up on all your faves.

Either way, you're going to have to pay... unless you want to be in big trouble for illegal downloading!

i have the 80gb classic, and i have had no problems with it, it has NEVER crashed, there is only one problem when i have a case on it, the scroll wheel is really unresponsive, so just dont get a case that covers the scroll wheel and u'll be fine, other than that its awesome! and looks great!

And what makes it better then a Zune? In all reality both iPod and the Zune suck ass in comparison to what else is available. I would rather buy a 30 GB Zen Vision M with its superior screen resolution and sound then an 80 GB buggy non UMS compliant piece like the classic. The Zune took away its equalizer in the new model and that was a big no no.

Well it's worth it because i have 16gb of video now and 7gb of music so im glad i did the 160gb.

i have 33 gb of music and nearly 7 gb of video.

only problem with the ipod classic is when yewr in cover flow, it takes like a second for the album covers for about 20 albums to show.

still awesome =)

fair enough but i just have too many bands to just use the scroll wheel to find a band in an upright list.

cover flow is quicker for me, might not be the same for other people =)

hey dragonboy666666 if u want my advice i'd say get the classic because its an exrta 50 bucks for 10 times more gigs which can also play videos but if u want a certain color besides black or silver i'd say get the nano with video considering black and silver are the only classic colors. also i got the classic 80 gb black and its awesome i take it everywhere
