  • I can't believe it, I moved from Europe to Florida 10 years ago and I still never when to Cap Canaveral.

  • So instead of taking an exciting trip to another planet, Discovery took a boring trip to a man-made space station. Oh.. how interesting..

  • @theblue64 to be honest, i would be very interesting to go there, if i had the chance to go i would

  • beautiful.

harder to land than most; 747 drop 1 ft for every 18, shuttle drop 1 ft for every 4

  • when the shuttle come back into the atmosphere it makes these two loud sonic boombs..totally awsome..im going to be sad to see when/if the space shuttle gets replaced..its an awsome thing to see at least once in your life.

  • It's gonna be replaced in 2010 apparently by the Orion. But I guess witnessing a splashdown is pretty cool too. I wish I had gotten into the hobby of astronomy and space exploration sooner so I would have been less ignorant to its wonders. haha

  • Reminds me of a private jet.

  • 5.7 million, that's alot of frequent flier miles... mrah, mrah, mrah... quack quack honk honk (in honor of Pat from Moonachie...)

  • I wonder if they had to pay an extra $15 for the first checked bag?

  • LOL

    Sweet landing.

  • @xsited1 lol

  • Touchdown ..... "after 95 days away from the planet." Glad to see they are safely back home.

  • 1st comment! anyways how long has the shuttle discovery been in space?
