@TheRealMossi hey it call pay att but ya know most players think that they are rambo in the tank the trick i use is very lame i use my emmeny mine mean i put my the same place as his so when the tanks see them they look friendly

Can a M320 Grenade Launcher destory a tank? plz answear

@Finderup100 Yeah, the grenade launcher does do damage to tanks and IFVs. I haven't tested exactly how much damage it does and whether it does the same amount of damage as the RPG/SMAW. I'll look into it for you.

@merteger True, but I made this video around the time the game first came out. Hardly anyone had Thermal Optics, so I got a lot of kills with the mines. But, even now, if you place them in spots your enemy won't expect, you'll still get some kills with them. Good luck!

Sigh... I miss the days when mines were useful. Too bad the patch made mines visible like Christmas lights even when noone spotted them...

@IHaveWiiOnline007 Yes, I can confirm that. You can place mines, die, switch to the repair tool and your mines will still be there. Not only that, you can even switch to a completely different class and your mines will still be there! Try it!

It's also good to use AT mines on area's where heavy foot soldiers come. 1 grenade and bam a multi kill.

also, you can easily avoid mines when in a tank by using thermal optics, the mines will glow, allowing you to easily destroy them

@iwebbyDK Nope, you can walk on them, jump on them... dance on them and they still won't go off. The mines are only triggered by vehicles... any vehicle, including helicopters if they land on them.

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but you can destroy the mines with nades and also sniper rounds and if someone has proximity scanner it automatically spots them.

Easier way to destroy tanks, put c4 on car ram into tank jump out right when youre about to hit, blow, enemy killed + vehicle disabled

@Phoenix1337css  Before the patch, I think you were able to place more than 6 mines. I'll check it again and let you know.

@TheRealMossi Update: Yeah, the max. you can place now is 6. Once they get destroyed, you can place more. So, technically, you can always have 6 mines on the battlefield by resupplying or respawning with more.

hey I think im not sure its fact but i think proximity on a tank spots mines if your on the receiving end as you don't have to waste time scanning :D just look on your radar. However it does take up a valuable gadget slot :D

@leo11113333 I'll look into that. I know players can spot explosives now just like they spot enemy soldiers, vehicles etc... But, the proximity scan spotting explosives is new to me. Thanks man, I'll check this out for sure. And the prox. scan isn't really a waste of a slot, it's pretty useful on a tank... it shows you all enemy soldiers in the area and saves you from getting blown up by C4's.

mines now are easily countered by infrared vision on tanks or guns soo right now their effectivness is not that great. only on light vehicle they can be useful

@noctis781023 Thanks for the comment man... Yeah, it is a little harder to take out tanks since people have had time to level them up. I recorded the commentary for this during the first week BF3 came out. But even still, it's not useless against tanks. People don't always use Thermal Vision when driving; they usually drive in 3rd person then switch to first person when they get to high traffic areas to scan for mines. All you have to do is plant the mines in areas they won't expect.
