It wasn't meant to be an insult. You just inexplicably love Jason Allen so much despite the fact that he's an awful football player, so I can only assume you are his mother.

2 INTs in his first game starting, another at some point later on, countless forced fumbles. The guy makes plays when he is out there

DeAngelo Hall gets a lot of interceptions too. Know why? Because he's the only guy the quarterbacks throw at, because he sucks.

If he blows this year at CB I'm going to say he was playing out of position BECAUSE HE IS! He will leave our team, play FS, and dominate like he did for us from the middle of the season until the end when he was arguably our best DB during our 2007 season

Like I said I'm not going to defend him as a corner and he is finished as a safety on our team (which is okay because Gibril was a steal). However he will be starting or nickel this year so I will say I told you so when that happens. Will it stay that way? maybe, maybe not. will he suck? maybe no one knows but he will be given a serious role this upcoming season that is all im saying

Actually you know what? I will tell you EXACTLY what will happen from this point on.

We'll say nothing for maybe 3-4 years. Then one day I'll remember that horrible former NFL player named Jason Allen. Then I'll remember your comments. So I'll come back here to gloat. At that point, one of three things will happen: (continued in next comment)

1. You'll make endless excuses for Allen. Something along the lines of "he wasn't given a fair shot!" or "the coaches didn't use him right" or some other BS.

2. You won't reply because you'll know I'm right and don't want to be a man about it.

3. You won't reply because you're dead, probably because you stuck a fork in a toaster or something.

If you were familiar with college football and the NFL for that matter, you would know that he was drafted as a FS, was intended to play FS, but like you admitted, we have no talent at CB so he's doing what he can for the team. Something you should appreciate instead of knocking him

That's not how it happened. He's bounced back and forth because he sucks at both. And now he's purely a special teamer.

I'm not going to defend Jason Allen the cornerback either because he is a free safety, something Todd Bowles stated while laughing in a reporter's face. However, at the current state of our roster he is the 2nd best CB on it despite your personal vendetta against him. Will it remain that way? who knows, but it's how it is right now so get used to it

And you're gonna have to get used to the idea that Jason Allen will never be a good NFL player.

Hey I'm only telling you what the trifecta said. I saw him playing special teams but he was never 100% for the rest of the season. Davis doesn't "kick the crap out of Allen that's just a premature assumption besides they don't even play the same position haha

Another thing Vontae davis has a great chance of being a bust. Big character issues, actually got benched in a game this past season for getting burnt over and over. Alphonso Smith is the best cover corner coming out and is also a playmaker. If he is there at 25 we should draft him without hesitation. Darius Butler is also another one to consider really good feet and change of direction ability

Davis still kicks the crap out of Allen.

Also if you think Nathan Jones is going to be a nickel corner you are out of your mind. Him Joey T and Will Billingsley will be battling for the last few corner spots on the 53 man roster and Jason Allen will be nickel or #2 depending on if we sign a veteran FA corner or if we drafta 1st round CB, Jason will be #2 with the rookie being #3

Jason Allen broke his forearm midway through the season. The coaches have been raving about him towards the middle of the sason so you're wrong there
