Where do you get your wooden bases from please . They look great and are not your usual round or square bases . Great series of videos and tutorials . thanks
@TheSeasonman1 I make them, I am a woodworker and have a complete wood shop. I do sometimes make custom sizes for people here in the states but shipping over seas does get costly.
@skarnir depending on the tap water it may have chlorine in it if it city supplied, or other minerals if it is a well, I don't want to risk discoloration or other problems if these chemicals/minerals have an adverse effect later down the road.
'Basic' is good.. :) :) A very good tutorial.. I'm having some bases made for me by my friend at the local model shop! These days I prefer to put my small 1/72 scale armour models on some sort of base straight away, and as I'm currently out of bases I'm having a spell of building aircraft only.. :)
wanna say that ur vids have helped me alot ....i appreciate them i just hope all the rest of u guys do as well.

why do you use distilled water and not just tap water.

I have to get some sandblast sand. This is great Ken. Gonna use this method for the Spitfire base.

KENNY KENNY KEN KEN KENNY KEN ! your voice is so uber freakin cool... proper CSI voice-over territory here.
Only thing that needs improving mate is the volume levels. I had this problem early on, the music needs edging down and the voice turning up a touch.
Don't be shy now - let your voice ring out, get a pop filter on your mic and let me hear you go Pavarotti on Youtube ;)
