We were given a dog 4 Christmas and I decided upon the name, Boomer based upon this show. When I was a little girl I loved this show! Benji and Boomer were my heroes.

This is awesome. I was looking for video of The Bucketeers. Meadowlark Lemon left the Harlem Globetrotters to start his own team, The Bucketeers. They were on ABC's Wide World Of Sports at least once. I wish that was on youtube.

@TheDarklord0211 Yup, Here's Boomer is my inspiration. Do you think the judge should grant it? The video is from the German dubbed copy of the show, I removed the German sound track and replaced it with English from a tape I had recorded from TV, which recreated the episode like a US audience would have seen it. The next episode I do I'll try to fix the words in the intro too.

@projektboomer072010 That's really nice, after I was inspired by the show and living it for a while, I wondered if there was anyone else who felt it the same way. In the show's time, kids loved it, but not too many adults did. It's not high class cinema, but some people were touched by it at the right time and it made a difference in their lives. I know it's an obscure interest, but that's how it happened to me.. Boomer

No Junior doesnt show Boomer anymore the last station which aired Boomer was Nick but years ago.

We have Nick, but I don't think they aired Boomer here, not that I know of. DIS (Disney) had it last in the 1980s. I'm hoping that RTV (Retro TV, Universal) will pick it up.

Yes, the Steelers for football and Penguins = hockey, and we have the Pirates with baseball, but they haven't won a championship for a number of years. We love all of our teams though.
