Stupid is such an understatement. we had a shooting at our school last year (UALR) and I'm working at the news station as a student reporter for the radio station. All of our phones go off at the same time saying we had a shooting- right where I would normally be walking to class! so our school goes on lockdown, and being a reporter, my boss and I, along with national news didn't hide- we went and tried to find witnesses- while the suspect was still on the lose- he would be caught 2 days later

When I was in high school I went through a similar experience being in lock down because of a stabbing. After a while we were escorted from our room to the library with officers with shotguns. When we were let out, it was surreal seeing all the helicopters circling and police everywhere. That was back in 06.

I'm now a student at Virginia Tech and went through the hell like everyone else last year. I will never understand people that make threats or those who do commit these horrid acts.
