  • It's too bad the Soviet Union collapsed. They made great Bond villains.

  • He survived past his fertile years I think but never reproduced so I think he would be a

  • alec trevelyan disliked this

  • amazing.....just..amazing

  • Hum leaving the wind in this one was a wise decision nice game rip not too short at all now that's what I'm talking about.

  • @Atasenji I am pretty sure the wind is part of the song, I could be wrong though but I always thought it was.

  • @Cybertronic72388 Well I just got this song just recently and it didn't have the wind in it so basically the one I now have is not a game rip but from the ost album.

  • @Atasenji thx for the info. :) The wind definitely makes the song colder.

  • 1 person couldnt find the entrance to the silo

  • just grabbed my n64 from the ceiling to play this game!!

  • Thanks!!!

  • this is the best track ever

  • How can it b snow white to WTF the sky is bleeding?

  • 1:10 MEMORIES

  • i remember my older brother bringing this game home from video game rent store, this really brought me to that moment.

  • magic

  • I picked up a Klobb!

  • The darker snow-themed map always scared me. Shut up.

  • @InnSain it was that damn blood red sky and the twisted remix of the song that did me in on that level.. lol

  • @flaco3188 Haha seriously, that map had chills going up my spine the whole time I was on it

  • Epic is such an overused word that it's not epic any more. Why can't people say it great, or it's fucking awesome, or it's legend!?

Seriously, I watch videos like these getting all nostolgied up and then when I see comments below overusing the word epic the good feeling just goes away.

It's like when you having a wank (jerking off / masturbating / having a bish-bash-bosh) and then all of a sudden you hear your mum walking up the stairs. All the good feeling and horniness evaporates.

  • @xDan92 THANK YOU! someone who feels the same as i do about that word!. Same with owned, win, fail, and a plethora of other words that I only used to see in maybe just video game message boards and such.. Now, they're so overused that anytime I see 'em, I think of those 'bro' college gamers. The ones who play a lot of CoD, Halo, and things like that. It annoys me to no end!! haha

  • @flaco3188 Haha same. Glad to see I'm not the only one who is ticked off the those "I really should get out more" phrases.

  • @xDan92 lmao

  • @xDan92 You're absolutely right, man. "Epic, owned, pwned", etc. and all that other stupid internet slang is extremely overused. And what makes it worse is that almost every single comment that contains those words always end with the phrase "thumbs up if you agree". It's annoying as hell.

  • EPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIC

  • @demislasher epuic? epic no?

  • 1 person never had childhood.

  • my friend once put on some douchey sunglasses and i immediately started singing the beginning of this song to him cause it reminded me of the bad guys' goggles

  • holy crap, this song is basicly a bass tester....

  • If this was a genre of music what would it be ?

  • @rome877 instrumental? ugh thats not a topic i guess i dunno lol

  • @rome877 it'd be jazz. notice how jazz bands don't have singers. not a single level theme song from this game has a voice singing

  • @AoDfirehawk So does classical and instrumental.. that doesn't mean its jazz :P Try looking up the composer of this music.

  • @pye333 that may be, but most people will say jazz cause it's easier to say

  • @AoDfirehawk Actually, jazz is generall much more upscale, not dark and creepy like this one (which made this particular level one of the best in the game, IMHO). Plus, ever heard of Louis Armstrong? Yeah, he's jazz. There are many jazz musicians who have vocal accompaniments to their music, often also sung by them (though, personally, I prefer instrumentals-only jazz). :D

  • @AoDfirehawk

No, it's not jazz... plenty of jazz songs have vocalists. Not even close.

The artist is graeme norgate, maybe he knows. his website is wwwDOTgraemenorgateDOTcom, he might write you back. His youtube channel is called grey242 I think...

  • AA nostalgic!! Love it!! Goldeneye is/was a awesome game!!!!

  • LOL i remember getting this game for christmas with my first n64. My dad had really bought the game for himself lol but he said it was for me. I never thought it would turn out to be one of my favorite games of all time.

  • get out of my way

  • this reminds me of running across a snow field with a sniper rifle at the ready!

  • is it just me or does the bass in this song sound enhanced? either way its fuckin awsome

  • Cried a mantear- I remember countless times loading this mission trying to do it better and better with my bro. And by this mission I mean the whole game also.

  • soo many memories. when i played this game, i hated the sound of the alarm, cuz you know when you hear it, you're about to be raped

  • hey where did you get this music from? Is it on sale anywhere as a CD?

  • One of the watchers is one of those guys in snow suits.

  • This song is sick especialy this part 0:03 - 2::30

  • Perfect music for sniping Russian peasants with your pp7 in the snow.

  • @grijam02 Comment fulla WIN!

  • Comment removed

  • i would do anything to have this game again!!!!!!! even if i have to steal someones n64 and find the game, ill take it lol

  • @kingaaron01 You can paly it on an emulator. Happy I still have my copy

  • @sneskegagama u lucky bastard lol

  • @kingaaron01 I actually played mine today. hooked my n64 to my old surround sound system. this game ages so well.

  • @sneskegagama nice not bad

  • this was my fav level crucial old school

  • I am seriously about to cry!!!!! SO MANY MEMORIES!!!lol

  • Really gives the feel of running through a forest in the middle of a freezing winter... this level always confused me. I would always go to the wrong cabins :/ But the awesome level made it so awesome. The music is badass.

  • It's Sniper Time!

  • @Dorda098 Indeed.

  • goldeneye 64 is just the best game ever created. the games today are all the same and nothing special...

  • todays games are sci fi, horror, sci fie - horror, and secret agent stuff

  • couldn't agree more

  • I remember the first time I'd hooked me 64 up to a decent stereo instead of just the T.V. The bass surprised me cause I'd never heard it before.

  • Love how this song goes with the level, I guess I can consider this as my most favorite... God I wish I was born earlier before the 90s...

  • @94jonathang '85 was a good year. :-)

  • Well if only I was born like in the 6... wait....

    70s! lol

  • I love how well this song conveys the sense of cold and wide open space you get in this level. I used to imagine this song as i would walk home from my friends house late at night across our high school football field covered with snow. Couldnt see anything ahead of you but fog, dark, and snow.

  • Same here. I grew up in Alaska and this song brings me back to walking outside in below zero temperature. The sky is dark and starry, but everything else is white. Makes me homesick!

  • i remember this game, the cheat codes were the shit!

  • @AlexPanacro Cheat Planet! And Game Shark! Miss them :-(

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 u can still get em as emulators

  • Comment removed

  • @RockinDucksVI When you beat the game, yes, you can use the cheat codes you fucking failure at life. now please go kill yourself I do not need to explain myself any further =D

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 What's your problem...

  • @AsDyingILay RockinDucksVI said before he removed his comment that "I'm a complete and utter fucking asshole for using cheat codes"....well when I replied back to him that you can use cheat codes after beating the game, he pussied up and removed his comment cuz he failed.......

  • How do i get the sound of hte guitar? sounds smashing. L:L

  • All of these songs are forever embeded into my brain and i will always enjoy hearing them........oh btw the bass in this sounds good on my 13" JL's i have rigged in my room XD

  • Listen to the bass in the very first few seconds lol.

  • Good old days....wish it was still 90's

  • this game brings back many memories of my childhood like the scent of fresh wood on a furniture

  • Those snow guards always scared the shit outta me.

  • @freestylex69x

I'm guessing you played Phoenix Wright

Marvin Grossberg: "ah, the days of your youth, like the scent of fresh lemon"

  • @freestylex69x this game brings back many memories of my childhood like the scent of fresh pussy on my dick

  • @TurboFuss1 waw

  • @guyomeprime lol I was replying to one of the "top comments" =)

  • still to this day the graphics are still good. wish it would come to XBLA. :(

  • man goldeneye had some great themes, awesome game back in the day

  • I was always afraid of this level because the guards were dressed in GRAY with MASKS. Why not pink and yellow? :D

  • lol my cusin came over once and he thought they were aliens XD

  • When in multiplayer mode. I always played as those guys (Siberian Special Forces) cause they looked so badass!

  • thats fuunyy

  • snow guards i alway called them xD

its supposed to be in siberia the lvl so yeah must be cold there xD

  • As a child the level and the music spooked me out a bit :P

  • Hahaha me too. Especially the second surface level.

  • love it

  • From 1:12 on , my favourite part , just awesome !!

  • yeah my favourite too

  • This theme was ok but others were so better.

  • This mission had my favorite music and look. I would often turn on the alarms myself then blast the on coming enemies as the siren blared. This game may not be anything special now days but when it was released I played this for about an hour a day, until I beat the whole thing on every difficulty level. If you played multi-player the best thing to do was to plant the remote mines, on the doors, then activate them when your buddies helpless waited for the door to open. Muahaha

  • i subscribed, i dunno why

  • lol song in the game

  • best game in the game

  • Lol wot?

  • YES

  • amazing

  • This music does a great job of adding to the atmosphere in the first siberia mission.

Every time I hear it I just think "Brrr. Cold!"

  • Whenever i hear this music i think of the former Soviet Union since this level is in Severnaya, Siberia which was part of the USSR.

  • wow good for you

    you know basic geography

  • The best FPS soundtracks ever...

  • Goldeneye music is the best!!! Graeme Norgate, you are my music God

  • good beat like the bass in it

  • N64 Goldeneye music gives me the creeps

  • yea but wen ur lik e 8 or 9 it wuz scary becuz da freakin goons use 2 just cum of nowhere

  • I think you're still 8 or 9...

  • wasnt this the level in the blizzard?

  • Surface was a kinda scary mission. But it wasn't as hard either.

  • Correction: Surface was an AWESOME mission. Great music, great atmosphere, open ended, tons of enemy variety. You could even get lost and not know which way you were going, or go in circles, just like in a real northern blizzard.
