  • I am one of the fireman, I remember seeing you. We made eye contact so quit lying.

  • the driver was prolly thinking " oh fuck this is not goin to end good"

  • HE WAS SPEEDING!!!

  • too fast on the curv

  • Comment removed

  • thats because we are pro's and everyone else is not, people expect cars to crash , not trucks because the drivers are professionals , I'm a driver, been one for 13 years and in my opinion they are bad drivers if it happened because of negligence or they would have not wrecked , now acts of mother nature or other drivers this driver may or may not be at fault , I've never wrecked knock on wood and i don't consider myself a great driver just cautious one.

  • @pilgrim15801

Yeah, you[re professional jackasses. I have driven all over the world and truck drivers are indeed the worst.

You don't own the road - we do. Everything you carry is bought by us. So shut up, set your god damn GPS properly and get in the slow lane.

  • Toledo,OH...The cultural center of America.

  • thats crazy.. i drove through there for months when u had to wind in and out of concreat pillers while they were makeing this bridge and i never wadded my truck up and never seen anybody else do it eather and some jack hole has to fuck up on on a easy pass over it

  • I used to cross this bridge every day on the way to school

  • i bet that driver had to clean his pants

  • Hey I remember this wreck. He was hauling crushed junk cars. I think the truck was with a company called Soulroad or something like that?

  • That could have sucked SO much more...

  • sucks to suck

  • I have never seen a trailer with that many axles in my life

  • you must not spend that much time in Michigan

  • Slow down you wiener.

  • I live 20min west of Toledo i go there often i have been on that bridge it is way too high and the walls are too low. I remember several construction workers died from falls while making it

  • This guy will be ok. Pick up your last paycheck with Swift and head right over to Knight Transportation for a job. Theyll hire you, no problem.

  • if u noticed the type of trailer he had, he must of been hauling scrap cars, which is top heavy, u can turn a truck over going under the posted speed limit of an on/off ramp

  • going over posted speed limit, not under.if you going under u will be al right, boo boo

  • You need to know your load. If you know you are top heavy or heavy to one side, or even have a shifty load, than slow it down a little more. might have saved him a huge headache. lol

  • just a wild guess but having that many axles on the trailer he was prolly loaded pretty heavy and and goin way 2 fast for that turn

  • i heard that like a couple things this bridge and the baseball stadium was just the city comissioner getting their name in the history books

  • bullshit, never believe everything you hear

  • what sucks is a big rig fucks up and we r all bad drivers 4whelers crash everydat but they never get criticized

  • @LCSnigga I lived in Chicago for a number of years and some folks learn to have great respect for those big rigs and their drivers. If you could see on a daily basis what cars do to these truckers you would have a bit more sympathy for them!! Rule #1 Never jump in front of one and slam on your brakes.

  • @LCSnigga Amen! I used to drive truck and see all the 4wheelers cutting me off or do dumb things. I considered myself a careful driver and always obeyed the traffic laws. One time while making a right turn, I had my signal on ahead of time. While making the right, I was half in the turn lane and half in the straight. While turning, a car decided to cut me off on the right and he/ she had to cut all the way to the shoulder to avoid me hitting him. I kept going as no collision occurred.

  • I think what concerns me more than the low rails on this bridge (and they do seem really low when you drive over it) is the fact that whoever made this video seemed to be recording it WHILE DRIVING. I'm surprise s/he didn't nearly go over the rail, too.

  • I moved the camera towards the truck as I drove by; eyes stayed on the road. A good driver the whole time. : ) You can see the firemen watch ME video them. I hope they see this video on youtube and comment.

  • Mmm-hmmm... Suuure you did. ;) It's still not a good idea, in my humble opinion, but I suppose I can't talk. I've done worse while driving...

  • @DrumlineFraternity I hope they see this video and comment to, then send you a ticket for DWV "Driving while videoing" Its not different than talking on a cell phone.

  • they took too long to build this bridge. I think it took about 4 to 5 years to build

  • its only the most expensive bridge in the entire state of Ohio

  • how da hell did dat truck end up over there

  • never good video brazil in off road

  • good video

  • i dont get why its not upright by now i guess their on coff break. give me some rope and a pick up i pull it stright XD hhaha

  • Holy Toledo

  • Also, with the appropriate permits, you can pull a multi axle sled/Michigan trains in northern Ohio. I've got a permit that is good from Delta, OH up to the state line via SR109, US23, and I-75..to go where the guy was in the video you need a City of Toledo permit and Port of Toledo permit.

  • For the record, that's not a Michigan train. A Michigan train is what I pull- 6 axle lead with a spread axle pup or 5 axle lead with a 3 axle pup. The trailer in the video is what is commonly called a 9-quad-9; axle, 9 foot spread, four axle group (quad), 9 foot spread and another axle.

  • name on the hood sums it all up

  • ne fun here

  • and i watch this bridge getting build form ground - up .

  • I love toledo so much crap going on on weekends its funny haha.

  • Good to see our firefighters are working hard to keep us safe.

  • NO. He works for TFD. HE was workign at 13's (first due) when the call came in.

  • My dad was at that scene.

  • Why was this guy pulling a Michigan Train in Ohio?

  • What's a michigan train?

  • Michigan allows more weight per axel than any other state. So, there are special trailers that are only used in michigan to deal with this weight called the "michigan train". This is why our roads are so fucked....auto industry.

  • i gotta agree with ya there bro..michigans roads are HORRIBLE!

  • No, Michigan's roads are awful because of poor funding. Multi-axle trailers are permitted and very common in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Quebec's roads are poorly funded and absolutely awful, whereas Ontario's, which are funded fairly well, receive the same punishment, but are not too bad.

  • As long as the driver has a yearly permit from the city of Toledo and state of Ohio it's legal.I'm sure when Frenchy showed up it was the first thing they looked for
