You know, for all the hate this movie gets, and while it still isn't good...at all...it's still the most faithful game-to-movie adaptation I've ever seen, and that's gotta say something for Gans. We've got all of Akira Yamaoka's classic music, the original monsters, and we've got the blooper scene from the original Silent Hill! Unfortunately, you just can't break the game-movie curse.

@IndalecioCeleste Except no love for Harry. Though I understand their reasoning for switching it up (Harry is completely devoid of character 90% of the time), I think forcing the marriage angle kind of drew away from the focus of Silent Hill.

I still like to defend the film though. It was awesome getting to see one of my favorite video game settings on the big screen, and that they did particularly well.

@Ogawa47 Well...I can understand why they completely changed Harry I "guess"...I still don't think they should have though. However, the cool thing about all this is that I consider Sean Bean's character to be the real "Harry", and I'm hoping they'll give him a larger role in the next film. The biggest issue I had with the movie though was their butchering of the Order. The cult isn't Satanic...it's a completely unique religious cult.  Maybe they were trying to simplify it for audiences.
