I disagree, there is a big difference between an iron and driver, you hit an ascending blow with your driver and you hit down on the ball with your hands ahead of the ball with the irons, ensuring your divot is ahead of the ball.

I believe he is only refering to the swing plane in this video and not other mechanics such as balance, ball position, etc. My instructor told me the same thing and watching the pros on tv confirms what this guy is saying. For all the haters with negative comments go home and brag to your mothers, maybe they'll be impressed with your amazing knowledge of the game. As for the rest of us, I think we'll stick with what the instructors have to say.
