politics is so funny, we do dumb shit then when it fails we play the blame game, we find someone to blame and shame and that's it. other than being able to "get mad" at someone who they made a lightning rod..theres nothing done to make it better. Honestly I see why people want to live deep in the wilderness, its because this whole game we play is fucking ridiculous, Why is it when were close to death do we only realize life isnt about money and power? why does it take death?

you may want peace, and so do i. but there are sociopaths out there who are incapable of empathy. and some of them are evil and do happen to be in power. so, the wilderness isn't the answer. they will trample on everyone else, and enjoy the process. just look at history. so, just gotta stand up to them, whoever they are, while minimising collateral damage. by the way, this may sound perverse, but this is the exact reason why it's so hard to give up nuclear weapons as a deterrent to war.

How many Taliban, Al Quaida, Hamas, Hezballa, Insurgents, etc are there? Do we know who these people are? We see news reports where maybe several thousand are rallying. Bush and Dick stuck us there and Obama, try as he might can't unstick us. So after all this time, do we know anything about what we should be doing to end this mess? Our war fighting approach doesn't seem to include a way to end the mess. What have we been doing for the last 8 years? Our leadership got us here.
