The cat is clearly not in any sort of stress; these machines are turned off at closing times and switched back on during opening hours, so the cat has not been there for long. Since it has not been there for long, it would not fall asleep if it felt it was 'stuck', it would be visibly stressing about its situation and since this machine was designed for things to LEAVE the machine, not enter it, I'm guessing the cat will find its way out.
