The only thing I heard from Walter that was wrong was that he said prayer is given to us so that we can persuade God to alter His plans. It's not. Prayer allows us to get involved with God's plan...not change His mind. Treating prayer like Walter does is sorcery. Good stuff otherwise though.

Now fast forward to the mid '90s, or therebouts, when Paul Crouch was ROYALLY TICKED and screamed, "I REFUSE to discuss it any longer! Don't call me, I don't want to see your face!" or something to that effect. He'd decided TBN was going to be about money and prestige over truth, and that was that. A show like this one was never seen on TBN again.

The host seems to be defending these false teachers when he comments about throwing the baby out with the bath water (if they teach heresy, yet they teach some truth, too). I once heard a bible teacher say that rat poison is made up mostly of harmless ingredients & about 3% poison, yet if a rat eats it, it will die. In other words, it only takes 3%! The bible says a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump!

@mddale31 You got to becare ful about being in a pentacostal church. Its very dangerous to be weilding spirits arround. I dont think you should let a spirit control your tongue. You should be in control of your tongue at all times. Dont let a spirit give you uterance. Its very dangerous. The spirit can cast a spell or cause a violent possession using young tongue. It can also call more spirits to enter into you with the help of your own tongue. I know this because i used to be in the occult

The interview really started to pick up steam here. This goes to show you that God was warning TBN, even back then. Lord have mercy.

@nyyhec I think that Martin was actually warning the viewers because if you really listen to the way he speaks, he is talking directly about TBN on their show to the viewers at home. Dr. Martin was a very very sharp guy who could insult you in a conversation with you and you not realize it until a week later

The truth is these people like kenneth copeland/kennth haggin/benny hin and even the croch family are very heavy in the occult. The pentacostal church is occult to the core.

Yep. He said what needed to be said, trusting that those with discernment would read between the lines and hear him. Those without discernment...it wouldn't matter. But he didn't want the door to TBN shut to the truth. Unfortunately, we know Crouch personally shut the door forever not long after this and ended up with years of "holy laughter" and non-stop money grubbing.
