Foreign films tend to be character and story driven. Even special effects are done in a beautiful, artistic manner, such as in The Fall. That is the truth, not trash talking.

Excellent film. Lee Pace is fantastic but his little co star had me in the first minute. Beautiful story and stunningly shot. It's a little light in plot in places, but this film is good eye candy. Epic locations and sets. I was sobbing like a baby by the end. Thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to buy it on blueray.

the girl in the movie is ROMANIAN, she even speaks a little in romanian during the movie. the film is inspired from a bulgarian movie, though. anyway, one should have the proper information before saying anything..

Hey some information if anyone wants to know. The film was suggested to me by a Bulgarian. The screenplay is based on the highly original screenplay of Yo Ho Ho(Bulgarian version) written by Valeri Petrov- a genius and poet who definitively translated Shakespeare's works into Bulgarian. Just thought there should be some credit where credit is due.

The Fall is one of the most original films I have ever seen, reminded me of Lawrence of Arabia, in terms of cinematography.

It's about visibility: for the casual moviegoer is led by commercials and trailers, but those of us that seek out good movies with a discerning eye films like this are not hard to find. i REALLY dislike Sarah Silverman- but not the point i want to make...

I think it's wrong to subject this movie to restriction of certain sects of people. WHo knows people with questionable taste may watch this film and realize they need to quit wasting their time with the useless junk they used to watch.

I just think it's not the greatest move to categorize people. It causes a lot of separation (obviously) and invokes this abrasive demeanor we should be striving to eliminate.
