Enable Compiz Fusion Sphere & Cylinder - Ubuntu Linux 8.04

Can you do this for 10.10. I have everything for Compiz all up to date and everything, but I can't even get the cube to work, let alone the sphere.

@gotbletu Yeah like the wiggle windows and like the gears work. Random other effects work, but I can't actually get the cube/cylinder/sphere.

i have it running and i selected all of the options and stuff but how do you actually turn it into a sphere? also, i cant add the window switching effects. when i press alt+tab, it switches normally.

hold the middle mouse button, or look up the hotkeys in compiz

if u can enable compiz then u can uses all the effects, if u cant u wont. Theres only 2 major 1s nvidia or ATI, usually any 3d xlr8er card will do.

well i did everything you did in the video.. do u have to have to have a up to date graphics card

u only need a decent card to run compiz. otherwise u wont be able to enable it.

hi getbletu i'm using ubuntu 8.04 and i don't see the cube reflection & Deformation... in my Advanced desktop effect setting and how can i get that?

Yea like i said in the video. U need to have an uptodate compiz. Just add the repo i posted on the video infobox and it should update.
