hello lester,tune your guitarDAD(Fsharp)AD, mess around with anEmajor7 shape (i.e take your middle finger off)for the non-singing part/intro After false alarm etc.) barre flat across 7th fret,move it to 9th fret..sounds complicated but have a go,it's not so hard..you're killing a beautiful song but i bet you coutd do it just fine..you obviously love it which is the imortant thing.hope this doesn't sound patronising,i couldn't sing if my cojones depended on it,but i can do the guitar.

No biggie - but the tune has like an 8 chord progression, and moves between 2 key centers.
Joni would have spent a lot of energy coming up with this beautiful sequence. It's a blessing to learn it.
