  • @bunloveszep

Funny that you mentioned that, yes at times I would find a catwalk and light one up......

  • Que excelente combinación de músicos; yo tenía 19 años cuando estaba sonando en las radios en 1969, con mi cabeza llena de ilusiones, estudios y un fracaso amoroso que me duró años remontar. Toda esa mescolanza me hacia escribir y soñar. Como no hacerlo con tan bella música: Ferrant & Taicher y Vincent Bell tocando juntos o separados igual de extarordinarios!!

  • This is a beautiful song indeed! A++++ I was 12 years old in 1969 when this beautiful song was popular! Today, at the ripe old age of 53, I still enjoy listening to this beautiful song. Have a great day everyone! Marc in Ohio USA!

  • excellente:-)

  • I'd been remembering this song for years—when I 1st heard this on the radio, it sounded like rain drops!!! Love it!!!

  • I still have this version on vinyl 45 RPM. I was born in 1960!

  • every time i hear this song i dream im riding a giant squirrel through the valley of darkness while my mouth drips with peyote and im draggin the head of 50 men that died on the crusades along with my favorite cartoon characters

  • @olvidatedeeso wow! i am trying to guess the chain of events that has happend in your life, to come up with a reply like that..

this was the version that they played in new york (W.A.B.C)

  • This is the very first song I can remember that effected me emotionally . I first heard it when I was in 3rd grade. The guitar is almost like a singer's voice to me. It's telling us something, but we can't understand what it''s saying because we don't speak music. What we do get, though, is the emotion.

  • I remember being a kid riding around with the folks at night looking at Xmas lights on houses and hearing this version on the car radio. Funny how a single song can trigger long forgotten memories

  • This is a very beautiful song. I have been looking for this original version for a very long time. I have always wanted to see this movie. Don't know where to buy the video. Anyhow ........ Thanks so much for this slide

  • i was 13 and got uprooted from a TEXAS city to move to some shithole in MISSISSIPPI..jesus did i cry for some time this song at the time altho beautiful and grand reminded me of that deep pain...now older and wiser i can listen and be calm to such a great masterpiece...it doesn't do shit about this state.....STAY AWAY

Will always remember hearing this on radio about 39 years ago while driving down nice tree lined roads in Beverly Hills where the stars mansions are and just having nice vibes.

  • thanks for the reply. my mom had an old white plastic looking mono radio that was a.m only big round dial and clock that sat on the table next to the coffeepot. would listen to this while getting ready for school. what memories . both of my folks have since passed. man what a flood of memories . those were such simple times. those were the good ol' days we were just too blind to notice
