As far as civilization goes Christianity predates Islam, Judaism predates Christianity and the Indian Harappan civilization predates all of the above. If you read some history instead of the Koran then you might be better informed but then Islam is also the religion which destroys historical artifacts (see Bamiyan Buddha's statue) so I guess you wouldn't be interested.

As far as civilization goes Christianity predates Islam, Judaism predates Christianity and the Indian Harappan civilization predates all of the above. Thing is when I look up into the sky I see flying machines takeing hundreds of people at a time to far off places. When I look around my home I see many tecnologal marvals which make my life more comfotable. All these things were invented by "western" scientists and engineers all possable due to western style free thinking.

Your talking about radicals here and sometimes I talk about radicals to sugar coat some point im making to a liberal. The fact of the matter is and has been said many times by different Muslims most recently by the Turkish PM and hinted at by Baroness Warsi that "there is no radical or moderate Islam only Islam". Iv been talking to Muslims long enough to know this is true. People like yourself have shown me over the years there are no moderates. btw Fox a bit left wing for my taste

@leeSouthend you can see the rate of murder, abuse, rape of women is high in the west than it is in any eastern country. Is it religion? Culture? Race? I don't know but it is a fact. Most religions teach peace and the violence which is done is going against what is taught. There is also the fact that god is supposed to judge and punish the world. Islam is different. It teaches that the individual believer should punish the non believer and forcibly spread Islam.
