Great raw breakfast food! I cut up an organic apple, some cinnamon and some organic slivered almonds, then pour on your homemade organic nut milk, great recipe on Jason Wrobel TV on youtube, silky milk, yummy!
I had read that you should grind the seeds up for a cpl seconds before eating? Im assuming it was something about easier digestion... but you didnt do this, and didnt mention it. So now Im wondering if this is even correct...
@thatstheguy07 Flaxseed needs to be used within two hours of grinding not Chia. Chia is fine left out on the counter and there is really no need to grind them like flax. I soak mine overnight sometimes in water on the counter.
@skllz415 Yes, Make lemonade, (I like lime better than lemons) cut a lime in half, remove the seeds throw it in the blender with skin peels, add water to make a 1/2 gallon pitcher add about 2 tablespoons of chia seeds,(do not blend the chia ) add, sugar to taste( or splenda) add ice cubes serve it with dinner, or just drink it all day, the whole family can enjoy this delicious tropical drink instead of sodas. This a popular tropical drink in Mexico, I have enjoyed it since I was a child
I'd like to know what you do with the chia gel as in refrigerate it, consume it all immediately, shelf life? I'm unclear about that. Seems some just mix it up with water, place it in a jar...but then what, refrigerate or no?
hi...do you have to soak the seeds? Can they just be thrown in something like yogurt or on a salad?

@skllz415 of course, just keep in mind that it will start creating a gel, so drink it quick or use a lot of water.
