l'auto elettrica è il futuro, brava la Renault che le pubblicizza già sin d'ora.

unico sistema fattibile per il problema della scarsa autonomia e lungo tempo di ricarica: batterie intercambiabili, vai dal "benzinaio" e sostituisci le batterie scariche (che lui provvederà a ricaricare per poi darle ad altri) con batterie ricaricate.

ciao. l'idea di comprare un auto e farla elettrica mi attira. ovviamente una fiat 500 nuova. volevo sapere: è possibile fare questo su un'auto del genere(che ha clima, radio, strumentazione digitale)? posso usare lampadine a led per ridurre l'assorbimento? i fari xeno assorbono meno? posso comprare un'auto dalla fabbrica (fiat) o concessionario sensa motore e parti correlate (serbatoio, marmitta, ecc...) ottenendo uno sconto?

Why are people so inarticulate. Too many videos that show how they did electric conversions have music rather than narrative. Tell us about how you did it, the obstacles you overcame. Granted this one in Italian might not have helped english speakers but nobody gets the word out. From what I have been able to determine, Electric cars are more powerful than gas, able to offset the weight of even the most inefficient batteries. Why does the myth of gas perpetuate?

I used to stay in Fiesole, on an high hill, about 1000 feet above florence.

It could do three times up and down, for about 60 kms. No problems.

By the wya y can see the car climbing electrically in some parts of the video...

I saw a post on the oildrum about this car linked on evconvert(dot)com. Seperately Excited DC motor at 96V with 10 kW nominal power, 26 Li Poly batteries in series for a 96.2V nominal pack storing 9.6 kWh, 90 km/h top speed, and 100 km range per charge. Expected battery pack life is over 100,000 km and they estimate a kit to retrofit the Fiat 500 in this setup will run 6,000-8,000 Euros.

But does this factor in expected shelf life of the batteries? If the shelf life is 15 years, I can see 250,000 km life, but I think it's more around 5-10 years. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If Kokams can last 15+ years, a set in my GT6 would be nice. A 50 kWh pack would give me 800 km range per charge at 110 kmh and with the right motor, controller, and gearing, 300 kmh top speed! Maybe I'll be able to afford it in 3 years. *drool*

Is it true that those kokam li-po can get 2500 cycles ?? to 80%? How much costed this 10kWh pack? damn i wish converting a car was simple..( law rules etc..) What about lifepo4? they can get much cycles too.
