Going to see Devin in Dublin in three nights time!! Im just hearing these old demos for the first time- Jesus, this stuff is awesome- brilliant. This is like a hyper hybrid of Janes Addiction - and Pantera. Fucking fantastic. Elastic,jumpin' Janes Addiction verses- with Dimebag Darrell showing up outta nowhere to tear the solo a new arsehole. Super sweeps,harmonics,and funked out riffage. Love it.

... I disagree. Corey Taylor is not all that amazing. Slipknot was never all that great and eventually got caught up in this new wave of pop rock type music. Stone Sour is just an extension of that. Their music sounds like something Papa Roach or Mudvayne would do.
