예전에 MBC에서 했던 다큐멘터리 "사랑"의 한 에피소드 중에 암으로 죽어가는 여자친구를 극진하게 간호하는 남자친구의 이야기가 나온 적이 있다. 결혼식을 올리기로 하고 준비하던 중 결국 그 여친은 결혼식 2일 전인가에 하늘나라로 갔던 이야기였는데.... 그 이야기를 보고 승환옹이 만든 노래가 이 노래다. 이 노래를 들으면 그 다큐멘터리에서 나왔던 절절한 사랑이 떠올라 언제나 마음이 찡하다..
