Did everyone know that there could be over A THOUSAND animals ground into ONE hamburger? So gross - I personally would NEVER eat that again, and wish I hadn't ever eaten it at all...gross!
I don't care about the hamburger so much, although they are tasty, and I certainly don't care about the cow. The cow was purposely domesticated and bred my man to feed man. Without man, the cow would be more like the American Bison. Free to roam and free to be as it may. Prey for some, and grass cutter for plains. This is not the case though. The cow has been bred for man to consume it's mile, eat its cheese and enjoy it's meat. I pass no judgement on anything else other than what it is. Food
I meant to say "Consume it's milk." I would also say that the cow being like the American Bison was an assumption that the American Bison was also left alone without Human intervention. Which it wasn't. Native Americans took what they needed from the bison for possibly a couple of millenia and European stock took what they really didn't need from the Bison in just over a hundred years.
@macflinn I hope you don't have a dog. If you don't recognize that a cow has a unique personality and is an individual being you are just a blind, stupid follower, but that is OK - you are like most other people, too- followers. How does it feel to be a sheep???
