  • wow! The special effects were electrastic:)

  • how hot is diedre hall ?

and she still is a goddess !

  • i remember this show cheeseeezy but funny! cartoon network or tv land or retro tv needs to bring this one back.

  • I always wondered what this show was actually like since seeing the TRS-80 music video

  • This,,series,,sure defined the meaning of the term "Camp"-as well as being one

of Sid and Marty Kroft's strangest shows to date! great guest stars, playing the

campiest of villians,,almost like the sort of material you'd see in the Adam West

BATMAN series-but all the same,it is almost painful,to sit through this stuff, even

if its nice to see Deiedre Hall and Judy Strangis in such,,costumes! Norman Alden

sure must've been pretty desperate to loan himself to such fluff,,but it's business!

  • ELECTRO-WOW!!!

    Ahh...memories:)

  • dyna girls is soooo hot. i fapped to her as a kid all the time..probably why im f'd up now

  • @yappertrap = I preferred to fap to Electra Woman when I was a kid. She was so sexy in a school teacherish way.

  • Oh, come on! - we were kids back when this aired. There was nothing suggestive about this. This show was sort of a cheesy female answer to Batman and Robin, I think. It was okay for what it was back then....

But I agree that the Saturday morning cartoons were better.

  • So this is why I loved Saturday morning cartoons back in the 70's

  • Ya know...if I had found an old VHS tape, and I stuck it in my VCR...and this is the footage that I saw.....after about 10 seconds I would have been completely under the assumption that this was a porno. After 10 min.of watching I would have been thinking.."Wow.... when are they gonna get to the Sex scene?!" After about 30 min. of watching I would probably wonder if the VCR was broken. After 1 hr. Id be calling an Escort Service, asking for 2 girls & if I can call them DynaGirl & Electra Woman

  • @frankensteinmoneymac you forgot to add the part where you could call them erectra woman and vagina girl.

this was the early 70's. cheesy just came with the territory. just ask sigmund and the seamonster. also, betamax.

  • @thesilverspider You're welcome friend! =-D

  • @thesilverspider Wow Spider you're good LOL! =-)

  • @AngeLBarraganJR

    Thanks. I try. LOL :-D

  • @thesilverspider that a good cast Spider but if they want to do a younger version how about this cast.

    Elektra Woman- Blake Lively

    Dyna Girl- Miranda Cosgrove

    LOL!

  • @AngeLBarraganJR

Awesome. Totally awesome. All of your choices are good Angel.

Here's another idea, just for kicks, and to get ourselves off. LOL

    Electra Woman - Shannon Tweed

Dyna Girl - Erica Durance (The hottest Lois Lane ever! Rrrrrrrrrrrr!)

    XD

  • @thesilverspider I do and I think I know who to cast and I wanna know what you think.

    Electra woman- Sarah Jessica Parker

    Dyna Girl- Jenna Fisher

  • @AngeLBarraganJR

    Very nice Angel.

    Here's another possiblity of many:

    Electra Woman - Angie Everhart

    Dyna Girl - Paris Hilton

    LOL

  • I can just see it now. Somebody's going to make a movie based on these two characters. lol

  • It's like they always miss their Detect Traps roll by one point, but the DM is generous and says "you don't locate a trap...but you're pretty sure there's something there". And they reply, "okay, I guess we'll walk out into the center of the room anyway."

And that is how the Kroffts invented the facepalm.

  • Remember this one, cheesy but fun.

  • Electra Vibe? How many settings?

  • cool

  • I mean, how can you go wrong. I was like 8.

  • MAN O MAN this was some seriously trippy shit!! I can't believe I was so GAGA over this back in the day.

  • okay the outfits are super lame and gotta go the tecnology used by the heroines needs to be slimed down the suits need a serious 2010 makeover as do the villains and the heroines all-so these traps are stupid as is the music; all of it needs a serious update and some new looks plus the heroines need to be in better athletic shape and they should know how to fight.

  • Look how the womanly figure Deidra Hall has! Not a stick figure like actresses today with fake boobs. Thats all real! And thats what makes her sexy.

I was 10 when this show came out and fell in love with Electra Woman. I couldn't stand Dyna Girl! Still can't!

  • To make me feel better, could you make a compliation of these two gorgeous heroes defeating all of the bad guys? Yes, that would make me feel so much better!

  • Ha ha. Electra-Vibe.

  • what's in their crotch at :49? a little padding, perhaps? because of the man-eating woman-sniffing tiger?

  • Well, I got to admit I had the huge crush on Dyna Girl and made me realize that girls don't necessarily have the cooties...especially when she "turned bad" due to Ali Baba.

  • OMG... Is this a true story?

  • ah - so many males "came of age" through this hot show!

  • wtf is this?

  • "Electra-degravitate" is`nt the most beautiful word in the world, the most beautiful word in the world is "discomfragelationsploddle".....which I just made up.

  • I can't believe I remember this at almost 38!

  • WOW! I loved this show during the 76-77 Saturday morning season. ElectraWoman was my favorite segment of the Krofft Supershow. My other favorite cartoon during this season was Dynomutt. I remember being frightened when the Empress of Evil had EW and DG's bodies pulling apart. I was like, "NO! Don't kill them! I have major crushes on those two!" LOL! Thanks for posting and bringing back wonderful memories.

  • How come EW and DG needed that dirty old man to tell them what to do all the time? Hardly women's lib when there's a man pulling the strings. :(

  • Every hero needs someone to help them out. Frank was their Alfred the Butler or Q to James Bond.

  • Wow what a blast from the plast I used to watch this and other shows I can't believe you found this thanks for posting.

  • I can't believe I'm even admitting that when I was like 7-8 year old I watched this stuff. Watching it now, in my opinion this stuff was total cheese ball. But I am surprised that actress Dedrie Hall, who played Electra Woman, went on to star in the female leading role to the soap opera Day's Of Our Lives. I think I might have watched this back in the days because I thought they were hot chicks. Still kind of hot, but total cheese ball.

  • Not as much cheesy as it is outright BAD.

Of course, the Empress of Evil episode was kinda fun - even if the plot made absolutely no sense...

  • ty for uploading, this brings back memories, wow :)

  • Is it just me, or is Glitter Rock's guitar playing around 2:10 completely rad?

  • I loved ElectroWoman and, DynaGirl and, while some might say its based off of the campiness of Batman I must remind those nay sayers that ElectroWoman and, DynaGirl came out in the early to mid 60's with The Kroft Super Show where as Batman Came out for the Second time in the late 60's and early 70's.

Batman first hit the small screen in the mid forties as television first came out in 1942. all shows prior were on the Radio and, Television was created from Radio Parts called radio tubes.

  • Electra Woman and Dyna Girl date back to 1976.

The Batman television show predates EW and DG by 10 years.

    Google is your friend.

  • You would think, since we men are accused of being pigs all the time, that two sexy women in spandex getting captured by kinky villains would be the hottesting thing to ever hit TV. Yet it only lasted a few episodes and the creators have only done one half-hearted and unsuccessful attempt to bring it back.

  • I agree. Even when I was a kid I enjoyed seeing part 1 of the show that ended with them getting caught in a trap, then I did with the conclusion in part 2.

  • i love to point this out but, this show was even more popular then Batman Amazingly.

  • I think that's because it was loosely based on the campiness of Batman.

  • More popular than the Batman TV? I don't think so. Batman the TV show is one of the great pop culture icons of all time. And the Batman character has spawned millions of comics, animated tv shows, and multi-million dollar movies. This show ran about 8 episodes during the seventies and has yet to spawn anything more than a failed pilot that never even aired. (with good reason. It was drek!)

The show mainly lives on with us gen-xers.

  • @robbatkinson666

Also, "Batman" was a prime time show from a major network, while "Electro Woman... " was a low budget show for kids aired on Saturday mornings (and part of the larger "Kroft Supershow" TV series).
