@Thefosse7 well... it's a kind of modern ballet... I did it for a school production, Midsommer Night dream... i can't really explain what the dance was about but it was one of the most beautyfull dances in the piece i think haha

This is the original from a piece of sheet music. I can't be sure if it is the real deal but i think it is. If you put the lyrics in google.translate you'll find multiple languages translating parts of the song.

Probably because of the shortness of the words.

It's not a language.. All the vocals in his music are words that really don't exist, all made up.. I don't know why, but i absolutely love it. Mr. Mertens gives 100% to the tones and the music, not to any lyrical message..

Wim Mertens was my favourite musician in the early '90s. To me, he was sort of mythological creature.

I had the luck to be able to hear him in concert three times, in 1992, 1998 ("Jardín clos" tour) and 2002.

The latest time I met him in backstage, we talked a little and I got him autographing the Integer Valor CD :D

It was the first (and maybe the last) time I asked an autograph :D
