Well, Nancy Benoit, Bruiser Brody, and Dino Bravo were all murdered. Adrian Adonis died in a car wreck. Of course a lot of the older wrestlers died of old age(Lou Thez, Fred Blassie, etc). Most of the rest was due to the nature of the business(hard life + steroids + other drugs = short life).

This is a sad video, sadder still that most of these wrestlers, I believe died due to steroids or some form of drug overdose. This shows what a sad shape this business is in, and sadly it took for the feds to crack down on Vince Jr after Benoit's passing before he really got serious about enforcing their drug policy. Had he done so earlier so many lives may have been spared.

Never realized that so many wrestlers lived a rather short life span. I loved watching big time wrestling from back in the day - Dick the Bruiser, Antonio Rocca, Pepper Gomez, Stan the Man Staciak, Ivan Putski, and so on. RIP to all wrestlers in the clip.

there is as many deaths by various accounts in (baseball, football, basketball, entertainment, and daily life. Some who won't go back to wrestle (Rock, Austin, and others know their injuries sustained wont heal. They made their mark, and moved on. @Majordowner Yes.Miss Elizabeth is dead because Lex Luger killed her.And the evidence showed Lex Luger had 'roids in his car.Dino Bravo was shot and killed during an armed robbery in Canada.Yokozuna died due to obesity-related diseases.Andre the Giant died due to both heart attack and complications related to gigantism.Most of them died due to complications related to 'roids and/or heart related diseases that are related to either 'roids,obesitty or gigantism(cardiac arrest,heart attack,etc).

It's amazing how many of these guys were under 40. It really is sad. I'm glad I got out of the business before I got into steroid use. I am actually of good build, but I was told I would need to be bigger if I wanted into another promotion.

Never realized that so many wrestlers lived a rather short life span. I loved watching big time wrestling from back in the day - Dick the Bruiser, Antonio Rocca, Pepper Gomez, Stan the Man Staciak, Ivan Putski, and so on. RIP to all wrestlers in the clip.

Some of the old timers like Bobo Brazile and the Sheik actually lived for a long time so they don't count. Those born between 1950 - 1975 died young tho. I noticed the old wrestlers lived to a good age. The others died young. Interesting to know why.

there is as many deaths by various accounts in (baseball, football, basketball, entertainment, and daily life. Some who won't go back to wrestle (Rock, Austin, and others know their injuries sustained wont heal. They made their mark, and moved on. Like most impact sports there is truly about a 12-15 year max before its over. Some never use roids. They are just that freaking big. Watch Shaq Vs Giant on Monday night Raw when he was guest host. Shaq was half a foot taller.

apparantley vincent kennedy mcmahon did force his wrestlers 2 take steroids and any other drugs that made them perform better or look better as in physique back in the 1970s and 1980s and if any wrestler said no out of fear for their health then they would be fired a few weeks later now this has never been proved but bruno sammartiono has said it and a former limosine driver for vince mcmahon has said it and other wrestlers have said it
