Powering and shrinking the dampener is a bad idea. Yes it saves on space, but what happens if there is a power outage or computer glitch?

They should just grit their teeth and go with a passive one, which will not become a safety hazard if there is a computer/electrical problem.

has not really been constructed yet.... this is all simulated. Their also considering building a (city in pyramid). I personally like the pyramid idea better because it can slow down big waves.

if u saw the earlier parts u would know that skycity is a proposed skyscraper in tokyo, the building shown may be the taipei 101 but they are just using it for comparison reasons

Like Klipsch said, this is part of a documentary about skycity. Skycity is planned to be twice the height of Taipei101.
