"I would live for this theme in random battles." As much as I love this battle theme, I'd be against it playing in random battles. It's a great theme because it usually plays when something momentous is taking place. I look at it as the "Trisection" from FF Tactics. Both great tracks, and both reserved for events critical to the plot. It'd be cheapened if they played in every random monster battle.
