Not compared to Lorwyn+Morningtide, imo. In Shadowmoor, you get to pay extra attention to he colors.

In L+M, on the other hand, you have to take both colors, races, and classes into account.

Seriously Even, I love your show. But are you just editing this together as a puff piece por wizards. I notice you only ever show the positive comments for every set, or that one guy who just made an ass out of themselves. You can't tell me that amongst everyone you talked to no one thought the set was just Meh, or no one liked this sets theme. And it's not just this one, but every set release you go to.

Conspiracy theories are boring. No, it's not a freaking puff piece. I would be more than happy to show someone unhappy with the set. However, I never found one. Yes, seriously. I'm sure they existed, but they didn't come forward and/or I didn't know them. I can't exactly ring a bell and get interviewees, ya know? At best I got some people who didn't like certain mechanics, see Matt saying hybrid was "too much", and Lori's dislike of the Untap mechanic and Mono-Colored Hybrid. Thanks for watching

Format changes

Good for constructed, alot of old/new archetypes with Gruul and Swans-burn. Limited, no idea, but probably ok.

Awesome, many possibilities

Untap

Not a fan of it, why, because it is way too weird to introduce such a game-changing mechanic this late in magic. Things untapping makes the other persons attack step a nightmare and is just stupid that it has to be tapped first

I'm a new player (reletivly) i got in about 10th edition, and I just got up with the newest sets about a month ago, and i've been STARING at this set, new releases are a new experiance to me. But anyways POST POST POST, I love you show, only critique is your funny text on some cards i don't know the effects of, some times you put the text

I have mixed feelings on shadowmoor. On one hand its the only limited set I am good at. I went 5-0 on Saturday and 4-0 Sunday, so its nice for limited, but I think it ruins Standard. First almost no cards will be main decked in standard that I can see. Most of the cards will probably be side boarded, but the ones that are completely wreck current decks. Vexing Husher almost completely destroys fairies, Everlasting Torment and Wheel of Sun and Moon destroy Revilark, and Mono black Korlash.

I agree with the old lady who said that untap takes away some of in the strategy of the game. I mean, when you have a guy with a tap ability, it's always "Do I attack or do I tap?" and there's some decision and consequence to that. Now that's reason not to attack whenever you feel like it

You know, aside from combat tricks, blockers burn removal enchantments. Untapping doesn't break the game like that. It just gives you more options, options are always nice. :)
