  • Kraftwerk, the "holy grail" of techno and synth pop!

  • I want them to come back to Mexico and play this song and then I could die happily

  • that melody sounds exactly like coldplay's "let's talk"

  • @brunatzo Coldplay's "talk" sounds exactly like this melody.

  • @tucsaddicted I know this song is older... just wanted to point that out

  • @brunatzo Coldplay wrote to Kraftwerk to ask for permission to use this sample, two weeks later they got a envelope with a note saying "yes"

  • @brunatzo Because it is... Coldplay sampled it for Talk

  • @TaylorAndersonL, i do know that because I am a huge fan of Kraftwerk as well, I just mean she should have known that it originally is from Kraftwerk...

  • I believe when the song starts, there is a woman that says "whoa coldplay" or something. Why didn't the audience eject her to the back?!

  • @Jens1503 maybe she just commented the sample used by coldplay

  • @Jens1503 Coldplay Sent Kraftwerk a letter asking to use that line. So i think it's fair that she said that.

  • @Jens1503 It sounded more like "oh my god, f**k yeah"

  • awesome song here wow cool indeed

  • The true pioneers of modern day music

  • maaan, this guys are aliens or somethin`...

  • loquendo song xd

  • One of the best bands to ever come out of Russia!

  • @Amon69666 and thank god hitler was wasnt a german too

  • @bkfmatze Yes, i never said, that aolf was agerman, but for sure no russian.orde do you agree that kraftwerk is a russian band?

  • they sound like they came from Germany

  • @theoarsofdebt they ARE from Germany :D

  • interesting stage performence............

  • I didn't know they could talk!

  • @btmacie I was going to write the exact same thing lol :)

  • The Beatles of ELECTRONIC MUSIC!!

  • I got an idea... Kraftwerk v Vangelis set to scenes from Bladerunner...

  • can it be the best music in the world got better?

  • I love Kraftwerk and especially this song but I much prefer the live version of this track from 1981. Back then everything about them seemed way ahead of its time. They looked as if they were operating a nuclear power station on steroids, with all those keys, switches and knobs, whereas here they just look like four guys checking their email or paying their electricity bills online. Is there any actual playing going on? They look like they could just as easily have emailed the show to everyone.

  • Gene Roddenberry heard them and created Star Trek.

  • odd. the vocoders change over time. they used the 03 one in 2008.

  • Heaven is a little bit like a Kraftwerk gig.

  • muito louco...muito louco...very crazy...incrível...incrivel...incredible...!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wait... did RALF PUT A JOKE? Oo

  • Yes, next time we bring our bikes that he said.

  • the vocoder line on 'computer love' sounds great. all of these posts for the velodrome 09 keep reminding me of what a special gig it was. Thanks!

  • yeah the vocoder line is awesome - you can really hear the "woooow" in the audience when the words "Computer Love" resound.

  • @roddyb123 yeah, funny they changed it. That's a curious habit, like an appliance, they change their vocoder every 20 years, so it never goes out of style.

  • sweet jesus, ralf spoke!

  • What di Ralf say at the beginning?

  • "next time we'll bring our bikes" I think.

  • Aha, now i can hear it :) Thanks!
