I fucking love how Leo screamed "Oh my god!" when Faith was going into the car a second time. I have the film on DVD and every time that comes up, I just explode with laughter. Its the crack in his voice thats perfect.
@Cabess12 Kate Beckinsale sure is gorgeous here. I'd even say better looking than Ava Gardener was. I don't know why Beckinsale doesn't maintain this gorgeous look. She'd blow away every other actress in Hollywood today. Maybe even land her some top rolls. Look up other photos of Kate and she dresses and looks rather bland and/or lousy. This shows that with a good direction, Kate Beckinsale makes a beautiful performance! I loved her as Ava Gardner! Leonardo was perfect as Mr. Hughes. Scorsese, as always, made a extraordinary picture!
@AvaRitaGrace you would understand the quality of the movie if you saw the research from part of the actors, producers and directors. The movie doesn't need to be 100% accurate to be good!

The actor who played Howard Hughes did not look like him AT ALL!! For one, Howard, in real life, was 6'4''!!! Ava was 5'6'', so the proportion was definitely off. I am not trying to say all of these bad comments, but it's obvious to me that this film does not have accurate information. But, I do have to say that I am very happy to see a movie about Ava!
I thought this was quite pathetic. I KNOW Ava's voice, and that was far off. Her looks were somewhat similar, but their can NEVER be another Ava. There won't be another person like her; or another one that looks a lot like her.
