@SuperNinjamanboy Yes, we are in the season of the end times, we can see so from the fulfilling of the prophesies throughout the bible (if you want verses I can quote a few). HOWEVER, exactly how close we really are to the end times is a mystery. For only God knows the EXACT time and the day. The point is, we must remain faithful to God, going to all nations to preach the gospel of salvation until that time. Don't let the false predictions of the end of the world bother you :)

Even though we need to be prepared, and spiritually ready for the return of Christ, Matthew 6:34 says "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Follow the two greatest commandments (Love the Lord your God with all your being, and love your neighbor as yourself) and you will most surely live a good life.

She was given 1 hr to live in the natural and also said that not even a lung transplant would help her. But that the biggest miracle were the other ppl who were saved after witnessing His Mighty Hand in healing Melissa. And since I am borderline stage 4 cancer, I am certain that God has given me His time to still be here thus far :-) Our faith is tested at the illness or loss of our children, or other calamities here on earth. Religion and God are not mutually exclusive concepts, as your description 1 implies. God's mercy says that He loves us so much that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. The world was already condemned in it's sin. Repentance and belief in Jesus is salvation from sin and brings us into everlasting life with the Father.

@LUCIF33R Satan is a sissy. He's a jealous guy, once an angel that shined above others before God. But because he thought he was "all that", God cast him out, down to the earth. Have a look at the book of Job in the bible. God gave Satan permission to torment Job. I think it was because what does not kill us makes us stronger. Your faith was tested, just as mine has been tested throughout my life. I fall down, I get back up - but I keep on dancing :-)

@SuperNinjamanboy Yes, we are in the season of the end times, we can see so from the fulfilling of the prophesies throughout the bible (if you want verses I can quote a few). HOWEVER, exactly how close we really are to the end times is a mystery. For only God knows the EXACT time and the day. The point is, we must remain faithful to God, going to all nations to preach the gospel of salvation until that time. Don't let the false predictions of the end of the world bother you :)

Even though we need to be prepared, and spiritually ready for the return of Christ, Matthew 6:34 says "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Follow the two greatest commandments (Love the Lord your God with all your being, and love your neighbor as yourself) and you will most surely live a good life.

I made this video when I finished my first year of chemo and am still amazed that I'm still here. Fighting with my second round of chemo, and I'm really tired. We must approach the Lord with reverence and an attitude of worship. The Lord God of Heaven shows mercy and compassion to those who trust in Him. But that the biggest miracle were the other ppl who were saved after witnessing His Mighty Hand in healing Melissa. @Godbtheglory1 Your "test"imony, like so many others in the Old and New TESTaments, is similar to mine. My daughter was born with the same heart defects that cause my brother's death. And since I am borderline stage 4 cancer, I am certain that God has given me His time to still be here thus far :-) Our faith is tested at the illness or loss of our children, or other calamities here on earth. Yet His glory shines upon us and gives us all HOPE. Thank you :-)

Hi, Jesus was a religious man, as shown in St Luke 4, where he goes to the Jewish place of worship on the Sabbath 'according to his custom'. Religion and God are not mutually exclusive concepts, as your description 1 implies. Nor are 'tradition' and God, there are numerous mentions in the letters of St Paul which refer to good 'traditions'. Yes, Jesus' teaching are pacifistic. That's correct. Even skeptics admire Jesus' ability to communicate his teachings with love and care for others. But I cannot worship Yahweh. You're implying in your barely-comprehensible response that the only understanding of the Bible comes from the Gospels. I have been raised in a Christian household, where the Bible was the first book I started to read. I can say i wasn't misled. Now I'm a skeptic. @joshuathejedi By the commands of God. Why don't you read Numbers 31:7-18. It's a very explicit passage. At the command of God, the Midianites were eliminated for false worship. Oh, and what happens when God's people show kindness and mercy toward the women? Moses rebukes the commanders, and orders them to be killed. But not all of them, of course! Only the virgins are spared for the purposes of procreating. Did they plunder? Sure did, broke that commandment too. Is that a good enough example?

It reinforces the revulsion which comes from Yahweh, at least for me. I can't worship a deity who claims that these actions are morally justifiable, that their destruction is a means to an end.

You can't just "carry your cross"; you also have to recognize that these "stories" depict God as unquenchably bloodthirsty and culturally biased. Believing in your "Christ" doesn't mean that these are mere "stories". They are the particular, divinely inspired revelations about the consequences of disagreeing with Yahweh's message. I refuse to worship such a monster.

@jwdogg1551 God is a God of justice and mercy. God's justice demands a payment we can never make. God's mercy says that He loves us so much that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. The world was already condemned in it's sin. Repentance and belief in Jesus is salvation from sin and brings us into everlasting life with the Father.

And you'd think that if they WERE worshiping the wrong God, then the "Holy Spirit" would've made sure such a false God wouldn't be included in the Canon. And I can't debate you on an opinion.. @lovelygirle913 I would like to as gracefully as possible suggest that you look deeper into the photography and images. Religiosity often blocks our ability to "see" the Presence of God outside our 'idea' and religious dogma. Everything that hath life presents itself as the Presence of Spirit to us. Although many may not use Christianity as their form to recognize God, it does not empty the potential of it to be recognized fully in all things. Peace .

Try the excellent book , 'The reason driven life' by top Bible scholar Robert M Price. He points out the good ideas in the Bible. He recognises that often the Bible authors have more than one opinion on any given subject. Try Valerie Tarico & wisdomcommons for a discussion about humanity's shared moral core & belief in Matt 7v12 The Golden Rule. Matt 7v1, 1 Cor 2v15, Matt 5v22-Not- 'You fool' ie don't judge whole person ,Be specific, comment individual action in terms of your emotions/ feelings

People have a complex emotional response to each of the millions of things they experience. You might love a tune & agree with most of the lyrics but strongly disagree with some of the concepts. You might mostly enjoy someone but loathe one of their habits or hate one of the opinions they hold & feel annoyed that they hold it. Your feelings are a necessary part of sanity. If someone said to me, 'I hate you', I would ask, 'What have I done / said that annoys you'. Emotional literacy is key

These are generalized, exaggerated, low resolution ideas. I like somethings about people but hate other points about people.Hate is miles from murder. Be specific & comment on action / idea. Be caring & enjoy /acknowledge the points you like about others, contest/ ignore the ideas you see as false

My daughter Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were destroyed her lungs couldn't stop bleeding.Dr said that not even a lung transplant would save her.I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power you gave Moses I ask u to close my daughter's lungs like u did to the red sea. Drs call it miraculous and that this story should be told.I say b/c I dared to believe I received. Amen.

@BrashNZ Jesus said call no man a fool. It's God's job to judge others, not ours. We should bless those who curse us. We should pray for the athiests, as well as our brothers and sisters in Christ ( in addition to modern day pharisaic Christians who find it necessary to constantly challenge others). Please don't come to my video and preach to me, other Christians, or my athiest friends. LIVE the WORD, don't just preach it. May the Lord bless you.

Incidently, I wasn't preaching - just quoting The Word (exactly as you have done back to me - so who is preaching at who).
Enough said - as I said, I don't think public forum is the place for arguing doctrine between christians.
Let's agree on what we can - that it is not God's plan for any to perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of Him.
