@pncombies It was DT Thomas calling out to the Colorado ladies and not former lead singer, JT Taylor. Thomas was an original members with Bell, and not Taylor as I had written in an earlier post.

Ronald Bell sung some lead as well as Dennis Thomas and Rick West and George Brown, but none were really lead singers,remember K&G was a jazz group gone funk. J.T. was their first real lead singer. Back in the day when then came out in 1969 they basically all sang together, like party vocals. Notice in the song,Funky Stuff. Donald Boyce sung lead on Jungel Boogie,Spirit of the Boogie and Open Sesame,but not really a memeber of the group.

Have you ever tried to mix tracks on a turntable it's very very hard so even if you don't like rap you should still be appreciative of the skill the people behind the music have. But I think the last decent hip hop track I have heard came out in 2003 so I will agree with you that whats popular now is awful.
