The films may be filmed in england but its funded by an American company. Thats y its being built in the u.s.

yes the FILM but how do you know the theme park is not based on the book rather than the film america has done nothing for the book so we could of biult it in UK and if warner brothers said anything against it we could of said the theme park is based on the book rather than the film.
