  • @Divan492

    toss my salad

  • Love the vid keep killin em but if they make it up to lake erie the government will have a storm at their front door

  • thats not funny what they do with "bow fishing" american do the crankest think u ever know / we have to do the same what the americans do to the fish

  • WHAT BOW AND EQUIPMENT ARE YOU USING AS I WANT TO GO KILL ME SOME DINNER BUT I DONT NEED TO MAKE JUSTIFYING EXCUSES TO ANYONE ABOUT IT AS I WILL ONLY KILL FOR FOOD AND IF SOME ONE DONT LIKE THAT THEN GO Fish YER SELF....

  • asian carp need to die. they ruin fish habitat and kill every other fish species. i am glad more and more people are getting out there to kill em. keep it up.

  • So much food going to waste... why dont they eat them.. they are quite delicious actually i ate them in asia and just clean them cut them up marinate with lemon and spices and deep fry them... goes great with beer.... one thing about drinking beer and deep fried fish.. you get so high... believe me its true !!!

  • @moonlightonariver Because that's a different culture. They also eat dogs and cats. Carp are not native to the US and destroy other favorable fish habitats.

  • @moonlightonariver Carp.Not so much.Maybe it's an acquired taste.

  • @moonlightonariver Carp are trash fish. They don't taste very good,to humans anyway. What they DO do is to overeat & run off native fish populations. They were introduced as a way to remove underwater vegetation but got out of control & are invading river systems to their detriment since there are no carp predators nin this country.Shooting them & catch & keeping them is working better than other methods of controlling them.

  • @moonlightonariver

Due to the fact these fish are "Filter feeders", which means they are not a "Bottom Feeder" as a common carp here in america... they have very high levels of mercury, so you may be able to board of health specs eat a fish stick per month and stay in a decent mercury and heavy metals range... it may be worse than that.

  • looks so fun!

  • great sport.i like to do this.

butt why is the nice chick not naked?

  • looks like a lot of fun

  • OMG at 1:58 you can hear 2 fishes head shotting each other!!

  • They should legalize dynamite fishing these fuckers.

  • go out there wil airsoft guns lmao

  • this is in ohio? what lake are u on ive always wanted to do this

  • @tbishop5375 Lakes usually don't flow one way with a current unless it's a dam.

  • Good shooting this shit is hard, Dont worry about the idiots what people dont realize that bowfishing wasnt invented to eat it was made to eliminate all the non game fish so that we could have more game fish

  • This is the first video i've seen where you shoot the fish still in the water. Will these fish jump out of the water all year long? I am interested in this sport and wanna give it a try. I need a little more excitement than the common carp up here in MN. Nice video by the way.

  • i dont advise the release that slows you down n i like my bow cranked around 60 go thru any fish i see n u can get carp arrows or gar tips for 8$ u dont gotta spend 20$ on a muzzy arrow

  • omg shoot it and leave it?

fucking wankers! i learned i only kill what i can eat!

american idiots just kill and dont eat it.

    fucking poor pricks!

    killing for entertainment?

btw in a boat without engine u would have more succes then trying to hit em while jumping....ah i forgot u only kill them.

  • you guys should start using shot guns.

  • Those carp need to be exterminated.. They made the call... TEXAS boys with automatic .223, and a chain fed .50cal. Die carp die

  • noob

  • these guys suck

  • why dont they just take a drag net and scoop em if they are such a problem?

  • shot guns would be cool as hell, i'd pay for the tags, beats the hell outa skeet for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I had no idea those little bastards jumped outta the water like that! That looks like fun! Hopefully it catches on with the bow hunters and they wipe those things out.....

  • fu ck grandma could have got that first one pus ssy

  • Compound bows are the tits!

  • not fair,,,,

  • idiots......

  • Come on y'all suck I couldve drilled that first one easy... But I bet it was pretty cool to shot carp doin that we bowfish in Texas so all we shoot is common carp, gar, and buffalo

  • Don't through them back!!! Take them out of the water and toss those invaders on the shore when you dock!

  • looks like fun you should try it with traditional

  • That's freakin horrible. That water is completely polluted with those things. At least someone is getting some sport out of it but I can see why there is so much fear about these things getting into the Great Lakes. How are we going to get rid of those.

  • You mention ohio fishing what's the best place in ohio

  • I think you'd have better success with a wakeboard and a baseball bat...

  • I think you'd have more success with a wakeboard and a baseball bat...

  • I think you'd have more success with a wakeboard and a baseball bat...

  • They need to round up and destroy these fish. I have been on the illinois and let me tell you it was not fun. You need to wear a helmet if you are speeding in a power boat or you risk getting knocked out. There are so many of these fish you can't imagine what it's like by just seeing the videos on youtube. I have seen the big carp jump 15ft in the air its crazy. Even 30ft boats are not high enough for these jumpers.

  • i agree with originaldriver... legolas would destroy those fish

  • They are a trash fish that is destroying the native species. for those of you that do not get this; you shurely do not know the threat these fish pose.

  • the engine fibrations drive the fish crazy

  • take out as many of those asian carps as you can, they are taking over

  • bows? .22 automatic rifle!

  • the guy on the motor was lucky he didn't catch an arrow in the back of the head with those two master marksmen firing away :-O

  • Fucking shitheads...!!!

  • You kill this fishes just for fun -.- ???? If u would eat them, I would tolerate it, but killing for fun, is something what I hate... How would u feel, if someone kills your family "just for fun" ??

  • don't throw them back in the river. these jumping fish are known as the Asian Carp. They are not eatable, and invade more and more waters in America. They eat all the food, so other fish starve to death. They also multiply amazingly fast. If you catch one, it is recommended by the Great Lakes Protection organization that you kill them

  • carp a garbage fish i wish we could shoot them

  • How do you make the fish jump like that ?? that's crazy XD

  • you dont have to do much...im pretty sure those are the invasive asian carp. they pretty much jump into your boat when you drive through the water.

  • @ghiof98 look up asian carp invasion its just what those fish do

  • Some peice of work brought some in to southern U.S. and released them . They come from somewhere in Asia . These monsters are wiping out native species by eating everything , including other fish eggs . Say good by to Great Lakes fishing . A shame ; action of one frigin idiot causes so much distruction . Not far off the problem with killer snakes in the Florida Everglades .

  • @ghiof98 its electromagnetic pulses that make the fish jump out of the water. its nothing that the fishermen did. it was just there boat motor making emp waves

  • @ghiof98 they are asian carp, they came to the US in the 80's, they made it into uncontrolled waters in 93 during massive flooding of the lower Mississippi they are moving north slowly. They jump out of the water when they are scared, they are a huge annoyance, and everyone I know hates them.

  • @ghiof98 Just motor around. The noise drives them out of the water. When a towboat is pushing barges around, the wake really drives them to flying, which is why so many bow fishermen/women look for tows to fish around.

  • yall are pretty good shots

  • you idiots

  • idiots!

  • Seems like a Shotgun would be more fun....

  • shut ur euro crap mouth and stick to your gay pond pishing

  • @Affenkatze77 shut up fuckface!LOL!

  • impale and release. Repeat. LOL

  • Thanks for trying..somehow we gotta get rid of the carp...Dude in blue tee shirt.,better luck next time..I came up with a idea..redneck skeet shooting...person sits in a inner tube 15 to tubes in a straight line..then some one throws a half stick of dynamite down stream for each contestant. One who has the most floating, either from the dynamite or shot wins...lol...wondering how that would be in a inner tube shooting a shot gun.

  • goddamn that looks fun!

  • Where is Legolas when you need him?

  • @originaldriver

now i know why legolas so expert on bow and arrow

    he was practice here ......lol

  • wow dont kill them if your not going to keep them dont kill them then throw them back to fuck u

  • Since I see that some people are unaware of what is happening in the Mississippi, the Illinois and the Ohio rivers. These fish can weigh up to 100 lbs and can eat about half their weight in a day. Since they love plankton, they are devastating small fish species. And, that is starting a bottom up chain reaction that is decimating all fish populations. The worst fear is that they get into the Great Lakes and into Canada (they love cold water). If that happens everybody will know about it.

  • where did you shoot thoes fish

  • i would just have a huge knife and when the jump swing and hack them in half..lmao!!!

  • i actually have the dvd with chris brackett and this flowers guy and the girl taryn... it's a funny dvd

  • only the yanks would call that hunting

  • soo real big boy,,, shooting at animals from 3 ft away!

    You're real hero!

  • Looks wasteful at first. BUT! bownutz is right on in saying the Asian Carp is a serious invasion! The balance of many once great fisheries has been destroyed by this type of carp. Check out the video Asian Carp Invasion II under the related video list for a quick education on this problem. Nice shoot'n bownutz!!

  • Looks like so much fun! Good practice for Deer Season :D

  • 12 ga auto.

    Guide business.

  • keep the camera on the chick..........she's more entertaining

  • I only came to this video to see the chick....

  • that kind of carp is a non native species so there are no regulations and it is encouraged by wildlife officials to kill as many as you can

  • asian carp are a huge problem!!!!they are doing everyone a huge favor

  • why in the hell would they do that you think they live when you toss them back THEY HAVE A FUCKIN ARROW THREW THEM

  • they are a harmful species so you r not supposed to and plus it looks like hell of a good time

  • Look up Asian Carp and you will see why the are not throwing them back dip shit.

  • big head carp are a plague. they should have used grenades and killed more.

  • not true gosport. the ecosystem is in serious danger with these fish being introduced. call the IL dnr and they will let you know what is going on,.

  • Yeah, this species of fish needs to be eradicated from our waters. They are growing in such big numbers with no real natural predators they snuff out other native fish species. Then again, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MESS WITH NATURE. How many times will people introduce foreign species of animals insects and plants before we realize it's never a good idea.

  • @bownutz Yeas deer arnt an invasive species whiping out the ecosystem....

  • @bownutz Why not export it to Asia? The carp costs $5 a pound in Asia. And people have to use feed to raise them in pond as a result of fishing.

Don't miss out the great biz opportunity, it can be a biz of billions similar to exports of beef, the market is there. Just ring the buyers in Asia, (using free web page translator to convert info on Asian biz website, n' you'll read" Large quantity of carp wanted, high price to be offered")

  • @bownutz MAN PUT THEM THERE, SO MAN IS THE CULPRIT RESPONSABLE FOR DESTROYING THE ECOSYSTEM.

    WHY NOT KILL MAN?

AND SECONDLY HOW CAN A BOTTOM FEEDER BE KILLING ALL THE OTHER FISH,

I THINK THE GOVERN-MIND MADE IT UP SO YOU GO KILL EM ALL.

PESTICIDES ARE KILLING ALL THE BEE'S AND IF ALL THE BEE'S DIE MAN WILL DIE,

BUT THE GOVERN-MINDOTES PESTICIDES EVEN TO THEY HAVE BROUGHT THE CHANCES OF CANCER UP ONE PERCENT?

  • @gosport86 We have the same problem with carp here in california. Theyre not a native fish, some moron brought them here and they choke out the food supply and such for all the native species like trout, bass, catfish etc.. Fish and game is very strict here in the regs but most will tell you they could give a damned less about carp. There is no limit and no restriciton on method of take. It seems wrong to kill for no reason but they are an indirect threat to the native fish :)

  • @gosport86 hot chick with guys who miss for the loss

  • @gosport86 the fish are rapidly reproducing and are invasive. not a good thing for all the native fish.

  • You need to watch more videos on Asian carp. Quite frankly, everyone in the Great Lakes should be out in boats shooting these things. Ideally with bombs and shotguns.

  • @gosport86 What Bownutz said.

Those fish ruin the ENTIRE waterways they inhabit fir ALL fish. There are way too many of them. It is a terrible waste, but that is the less of 2 evils. It would be a much bigger waste if these fish were all left alone to continue over-populating the rivers they're in. And if they ever make it to the Great Lakes, the damage they'll do will be almost unimaginable. They'd ruin those lakes in no time at all.

  • @gosport86 cause carp are trash fish

  • @gosport86 the point to bowfishing is to get rid of the invasive fish and to have a fun time bonding with everyone your with

  • @gosport86 You don't wana eat anything that comes out of shipping waters.

  • @gosport86 not exactly true if you shoot suckers you can smoke them and they'll taste good but killing carp isn't just for sport its for helping the ecosystem

  • Where on the Illinois is this?

  • I LOVE KILLN EM

  • love it bout to get out for the first time in 5 years can't wait

  • wow u guys suk and i think the men in here r the chicks because they only shot one each.

  • best comment ever lmfao

  • Cool!

  • Bownutz,

Looks like a lot of fun, definitely going to try it. But you have got to get a different boat. If I see one more view of the driver in between you and your shot I'm gonna puke. That guy is driving a tiller, looking through your legs and a around a good looking girl, driving in a river what, 30 yds downstream from a waterfall creating who knows what tubulence. Scares the *rap out of me.

  • i have been getting into bow fishing latly and the iowa dnr says any rough fish needs to be killed if it is bowed bown or snagged.... do you guys kill them or just through them back?

  • it kills them when u shoot them

  • Lie, I have shot several before and they don't die. I usually throw them in a bucket, let them die, and dump them in a farm.

  • also you may think about taking steel leaders with weights and triple hooks in tow and just drag them through the water using large rods & reels and see what happens.

you may snag quite few more than you are getting with the arrows!

  • do you actualy eat these?

  • Not that I'm aware of. They are filter feeders, eating plankton and the like. In the rivers, this leads to high levels of mercury, and would not recommend eating them.

  • Actually, predatory fish that eat the filter feeders bioaccumulate more heavy metals. You will be just fine if you eat those, but it is good enough just to kill them.

  • yeah, later we ate a bunch and they were great!

  • Nice vid but my wife was like WTF???!! LOL!!

  • damn how much do those bow cost

  • Just like any average bow.

    WE PUT BOWREELS FROM

_________AMS BOWFISHING GEAR ---------THE ORIGINAL RETRIEVER REELS ($70)

    ------------BOWFISHING ARROWS ($20-25)

Those bows were the same bows we all used to Whitetail Hunt.

The only difference was we cranked them down, lower poundage, so we could hold them back longer.

  • @C13los I outshot everyone on the boat last summer with a empty tomato can attached to my bow , with string wrapped around it. Very simple and effective.

  • @C13los I use a kid's compound I bought at a garage sale for $35.00. It's got a 45-lb draw-weight.

  • @C13los the kit can cost anywhere from 50 to 200 bucks but for the kit and a bow 300 on up here in iowa

  • Nice video! Love the slow mo. You guys captured some near misses alright! Too bad that one arrow didn't hold...

  • i shoot these mother fukers with a 12 gauge WITH 00 Buckshot!

  • i'm sure you do...

  • what a fucking awesome thing to do... i gotta try this

  • OMG I just watched an invasion video on this... I'm in Texas so I don't get to see THIS many carp nor of this type at all... That look slike a real blast... I only do shore bow fishing...

I just posted on someone elses invasion of the carp video how fun this would be... and you guys are doing it! LUCKY!
