Hi Suzie Elton here. how are and to the dude yes Brian did od stupid. Choked on his vomit in Sacramento. He was my best friend. I produced this album I owned the record company. I was the quiet one you know that Suzie....... I love him and I am doing things for his son as well now. Had to kick Brian brothers ass..... Google me call me. I have a ton of shit them video original track from fantasy studios etc.......
@ehalley1 Elton, you don't sound credible and it sucks that your calling another SVT fan stupid. I got it from a NY source that Brian ended his days in NY and as Pumapawz writes he was trying to come off heroin. Any one know why and how the band broke up? This is one of the greatest Rock albums ever.
Went to the "reverbnation" thing and sorry, but it's too complicated for me... I just can't sort through all that rig a ma roll... I mean I'm REALLY PISSED at Yahoo for making my e-mail so bloody COMPLICATED, even on the " classic" style..... Damn somebody's got too much time on their hands at that company, (not as much as I do though, so go figure...)
Maybe you can tell but I have not been able to do the computer thing for as long as most of you,but I'd love to get in touch w/ anybody out there..... SVT_Suzie@yahoo.com
@Cookiedoughbuttons....Really?! How's your Dad doing? Please say "HI" to him for me. As you well know, Paul is one of the most talented, hottest and cutest drummers to ever pick up a pair of sticks...!! So y'all keep rockin and ALWAYS question authority,(except for your parents! tee hee hee)
@transistersis.. No shit!? Really? How cool, can't wait to go to the site! @CynicLgrrl...Babette, is that really YOU?! @windowssteve...You betcha! I mean during "You Don't Rock Me", when they'd downbeat, take it to the bridge and BUST OUT, I mean, c'mon!!! That stuff ought to be illegal...it was downright SICK, huh??!!! Yeah, talk about "what a waste", Damn...."Live" , "Goo Goo Dolls", "Matchbox 20", "Nirvana", "The Gin Blossoms", You name it, they all could ALMOST hold a candle to SVT!
Thanks so much for the link to "Someday". Wow it was even better than I remembered it. SVT was head and shoulders above everything else going on back then. They epitomized the "Power Trio" in a wonderful way. You've made me a very happy man by allowing me to enjoy this music again. And thanks to Paul for posting.
I saw them @ The Stone, Wolfgang's & at a street party in The Haight. At the party they played a song that had a refrain..."someday-someday", it was just the most impressive chorus...apparently they never recorded that song. If anyone knows of a recording of it plz hook me up. They were so fantastic. I have always been a fan of Jack's work, but Brian was marvelous, the music world would have been much more interesting in the 80's, 90's & beyond if he had stayed on the scene.
That song "Someday" is included on a website called "ReverbNation", where drummer Paul Zahl posted a whole bunch of unreleased live SVT songs for fans to listen to. Just google it, YouTube won't let me post the link
@bgroovy2 That they should have gone on to bigger and better things with the sound and talent they had, but their early breakup and singer Brian Marnell's OD death put an end to all that.
ya!! qualudes,!!!

I saw them at the SF Photo Fair, The Stone and other places. "You Don't Rock Me",
"No Regrets" and "Waiting For You" kick my butt every time I hear them (live). I miss them days.
