The majority of the scientists in the past 150 years were secular, especially after Darwin. @amaqula I'm doubting you're even serious or that it's just a joke. The majority of the fruits of science today came from a non-biased method, where religion is almost all bias. The majority of the scientists in the past 150 years were secular, especially after Darwin. One of the "lesser" scientific "atheistic" breakthroughs include the computer, which hasn't changed our life at all. It hasn't automised any tedious hand labour, and it doesn't allow us to communicate world wide etc.

Many sciences interconnect, such as physics and cosmology, biology and medicine, but they can be mutually exclusive. Because something in physics isn't correct, it doesn't mean that automatically something else in any other science is incorrect, which would be a trait of a field of science on which every other field depends upon. Yes, physics and cosmology deal with the world, so what?

The technological advancements we enjoy today were mainly achieved thanks to the ENLIGHTENMENT, who started their research because of SECULAR ancient Greek scientists. It's only when people, more and more, started moving away from the insanity that is religion, in this case Christianity and more specifically Catholicism, that we started to see progress in people's lives.

The problem is that we allow these immigrant people to have their own schools and we allow them to maintain their own culture. Why do we allow it? We allow it because we have an irrational respect for religious doctrine, we expect others to respect our doctrine and in turn we respect theirs. Unfortunately, herpes-like doctrines such as Islam are inherently violent as well as being irrational. There has to be a rational push back against the horror and inhumanity of irrational belief!
