Don't you think Republicans have done it to themselves. Democrats have a racist past too. Republicans have not reached out to blacks and hispanics. Many seem to think that minorities seem to want handouts and ignore their vote. A Republican that could get a good chunk of the black vote is Mike Huckabee. He got 48% of the black vote when he ran for governor in Arkansas. Republicans may want to look to him or Colin Powell. The race card term is dismissive and doesn't move race relations as well.
