@NebraskaSHO oh i see, i have a 83 isuzu pup i just recently got it started and running it was over heating (its the diesel ) i got the 1.9 L csf radiator and it healed it for a while then it started bursting hoses and doing other things just because they were old ... and now its weird when i run the truck and its cold out like freezing it over heats when i run the heater and i have to top off the water every now and then.. its odd but the radiator does its job well = )
how hot is it supposed to run at idle? I took the condenser out from in front of the radiator to get it to run cooler. when it ws under a load it would run very hot..it scared me..
I had a 192 thermostat. No problems until I got stuck in a traffic jam in Omaha, Ne. Then it got up to about 205. I got on an off ramp before it over heated.

I know, they are reliable trucks as long as PM is done to it. I bought a timing belt but never installed it.
Sold the truck a year ago and still miss it. Would like a 4x4 1.8 or 2.2 again.
